Would highly recommend High and Wild for your next adventure in the Blue Mountains! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. Booking an adventure is super easy, if needed though, staff are super helpful with any booking enquires. We booked a canyoning experience at Empress Falls and had such a great time. I loved that they provided a camera for the group to use throughout the day, made for some awesome photos to look back on at the end of the day. Was an awesome experience!

I'll begin this review with a bit of personal background. I'm a 'flat-lander' where the highway overpass is the highest I'd ever gone until I was able to travel in my 30's/early 40's.
Now picture this - bravely abseiling down a 25m-30m waterfall after a very adventurous canyoning experience, where jumps of faith into small pools of cold spring water on a hot afternoon, were a welcome refreshment.
I felt as safe as could be with our excellent guide. He trained us on the basics of abseiling in the morning on a very 'beginner friendly' rock. Next up, another decent off a much scarier edge, though with his coaching, made me much more comfortable. Third abseil was on a 30m cliff where a good portion is a clear drop with no rocks to bounce off of.
After an excellent sandwich provided with my adventure, we hiked into the canyon and donned our wet-suits. The canyoning was thrilling. At the end came our waterfall abseil, which with earlier coaching seemed thrilling - and not scary. I was excited to try it out! Even though the rocks were slippery and I lost my footing on the abseil, I think I managed to recover ...ok, mostly thanks to the earlier coaching.
Everything was absolutely thrilling and I'd recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure, though I could certainly see those afraid of heights not enjoying themselves 😉

Fantastic beginner abseiling tour in the stunning Blue Mountains. Our guide, Zol was very experienced and friendly, with high safety standards. We built up confidence across 3 different heights- 5m, 15m and 30m. Super fun!

We had a great time at the Juggler's Canyon. Our amazing guide, Zol, was patient and reassuring, guiding us through the entire trek and abseiling experience. We had a group of six during the abseiling session in the morning, then a delicious lunch with a group of four for canyoning in the afternoon. The sights were beautiful, and the abseiling experience was extremely fun too. I would highly recommend it to all. Thanks, Zol and team!

Lovely morning abseiling with Brian.
The surroundings are breath-taking and there is no better way to see them than hanging off of a cliff!
Brian is an expert guide and highly diligent with safety.
We had a small group and so were able to cram in a few 18ms and turns on the 30m.
Would recommend.

A fantastic family adventure! Abseiling was surprisingly easy to master, and we felt completely secure thanks to the excellent safety measures and equipment. The Blue Mountains provided a stunning backdrop, making the experience even more memorable.

This trip was awesome! They give you a waterproof camera so a trip guest can take pics of the whole group. Rappelling down a waterfall and jumping into canyon pools was so dope! Definitely do this.

I went on the bush survival course this weekend with Dylan and Brian as our guides. It was the middle of winter and we had light rain all weekend, but despite the conditions, I had the best time. It is possible to make a fire even in the rain. We were taught how to safety collect water, make a fire, build a shelter and basic navigation. The navigation exercise was so fun. Dylan and Brian are the best guides - Dylan is so practical and hands on and made fire starting by rubbing two sticks together look so easy!! My hands are still bruised from trying. Brian has some depth of technical knowledge and was able to answer any question we had. Loved this group and plan to return for some more navigation training.
