It was an awesome experience. There is no pre booking so you need to be there early. we have waited almost 1 and a half hours just to ride the camels since kids are excited. i was lucky i brought an umbrella since it was a warm humid day. Make sure to bring plenty of Cold drinking water. Overall experience was fantastic. Friendly Staff and the even take your phone and help you to take nice pics while riding the camel. Highly recommended

Looking for something to do on a cloudy day, we ended up in Anna Bay and spotted the camel rides in the distance—they looked so cool that we decided to give them a try. And we’re so glad we did!

The 20-minute ride was just part of the experience. We learned a lot about camels, camel farms, and even their unique personalities. The guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and incredibly accommodating, even taking photos for everyone with our own phones.

We’re a family with two older teenagers/young adults, and we all had a great time. Highly recommended!

This was the best experience! We booked the sunset ride and it is worth every cent. The camels are so beautiful, friendly and happy. The staff are knowledgeable about not only the camels but also the local area and are happy to answer any questions or chat along the way. They also go above and beyond to get the best photos of all angles on your phones. This was a highlight of our trip to Port Stephens and would highly recommend the experience. Go give a camel a cuddle!

Camels?! In Australia?! Honestly it never crossed my mind to ride a camel in Australia but I’m so glad I did. It was a fun experience especially when shared with family and friends. The guides were friendly and we enjoyed hearing how they care for the animals and the rider’s experience. They were so willing to take photos and videos while we were riding the camels. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Bit expensive, need to wait while during public holiday, no pre booking accepted but worth it. To be honest its mine first camel ride, I enjoyed the ride. The beautiful friendly lady who will click your single photo. On request she never mind to take multiple photos during ride. She is super cool and friendly. I admire her. Best part of ride is you will get introduce with your camel. Mine was Junior only name is junior, he is tallest new camel in caravan.

Nice and relaxed activity to try when visiting Port Stephens.
Ride is a bit short, only 20 minutes.
Remember to wear sunglasses and put on sunacreen. Really hot and sunny.
Use insect repellent as there are heaps of flies.
Great instructors, really friendly and professional.

I had an unforgettable moment. But book for sunset ride. It was unbearable sunny day, there’s no shade. Also, mostly it’s windy, so don’t forget to take your sunglasses. It’s 20 minutes ride.
