Very disappointing.
We were travelling 10 hours from Victoria, made many calls on before arrival about checking in as we had not heard anything and we needed some reassurance, this was apparently because the room was being cleaned although the room was disgusting when we arrived, pictures attached.
The location was very confusing and misleading in text messages
When they finally decided to provide us with checking in information the codes to access the foyers did not work.
We made calls to management with minimal help and was swearing on the phone, we had to open a window so we could put our hand through to access the inside.
And the pictures of the apartment did not match up with online
Alarms get getting set off at random times, so loud throughout the whole building even in our bedroom We called to ask management and they said it’s because other residents have left a door open. Why are we being punished for this?
We could hear people through the walls and in apartments above us moving furniture
And other residents were loud and disrespectful.
There was 3 parking spaces available for the whole apartment building. They expected us to park in near by shopping centre. So disappointed

Absolutely Horrific. Misleading and Frustrating Experience - Avoid at All Costs

Our stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. Unfortunately, we stayed here for 11 nights, and it was a nightmare.

The advertised location is completely misleading, with photos showing a much better block than where we actually stayed. After a long trip, we struggled to find the studio, leaving us exhausted from dragging our luggage up and down. To make matters worse, they claim to have an elevator, but it wasn’t working. We had to carry all our bags up to the second floor ourselves.

Almost every day, an alarm went off early in the morning, waking us up and ruining any chance of getting rest. When I contacted the manager, they were rude, dismissive, and annoyed that I had called. Despite their promise to send someone, no one ever came.

Parking was another disaster—there are only 3 spots for 16 studios. We were told they had an agreement with Henny Penny for parking, but this turned out to be false. We ended up with a fine due to the limited public parking nearby.

The room itself was dirty when we checked in. We called for cleaning service early in the morning, but no one came, so we had to clean it ourselves. The maintenance was appalling—broken wardrobe, no toilet bin, no towel rack, and a dislodged fire alarm hanging over our heads that nobody bothered to fix.

To top it all off, the internet was so slow that we had to rely on our own data for the entire stay.

This place is a disaster—poorly managed, poorly maintained, and not worth your time or money. I strongly advise against booking here. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

The room was okay and the location was convenient for us with lots of cafes and restaurants near by, however the apartment block was not good unfortunately. The first night I was there, the foyer door alarm went off in the apartment blocks 1-8 which was below us and after calling admin to ask what to do they informed me to call the fire brigade. We found out it was just the door that wasnt shut properly. This then happened to our apartment about a dozen times over the 4 days we stayed there. A few of those times were very early in the morning and in the middle of the night and no one else in the apartment closed the door properly so me and my husband were forced to wake up to close it shut. It was very frustrating and unfair for us to have to keep doing this and to be getting poor sleep. We ended up checking out a day early due to this issue. The cook top also didnt work in our room.

Abysmal. Hair on the sheets? CHECK! Questionable stain also on the sheets that’s pale red? CHECK! Utter will to not vacuum the floor leaving dust and rubbish under the bed? CHECK! I could go on at how un-sanitised and- Wait hang on I heard a loud THUD from upstairs… Yes that’s right! That’s the sound of a lack of insulation to keep sound out. Anyways the whole time I’ve been writing this I’ve been jamming to next doors music. It’s a real jam, just not at 3am. Please up the standards, though I know they won’t. Also READ REVIEWS before you book or else you may end up in this hell hole.

Studio Room number 9.

PROS: The room was very clean, modern, and inviting.
It has a kitchenette with a bench top stove, a sink, a full-size fridge, and an ensuite bathroom.
The street frontage building of the complex is a laundromat, with a large 295 on the front.
The apartments are close to shops with a Henny Penny food shop nearby.

CONS: Rooms 9-16 are in the building at the back of the block, which involves wide the laundromat with no designated signagealking up two flights of stairs. The outside walkways are dimly lit at night.
The apartments are accessed via the driveway beside the laundromat with no designated signage.
There are only 3 on-site parking spaces, which are on a first come, first serve basis; however, Alfred Apartments guests are able to utilize the Hungry Jacks car park for overnight parking.
You can hear some noise; eg. Chair dragged across the floor; if you have a room above you, however, there is signage in the room saying to be mindful of noise, so overall, the complex is fairly quiet.

Disgusting- don’t go there. Fluid stains on the bedding. I arrived late and was in a back apartment (poorly lit) 3 lots of stairs in the dark was challenging with a suitcase. Needed to park down the road at a shopping centre- only 3 parks for 16 apartments. Dirty furniture- door handles. No on site management- paper thin walls, can easily hear conversations next door.

The Alfred Apartments are well located next to the Adamstown shops. There are only three parking spaces, but plenty on the side street. Well designed & equipped, but the apartment could do with some maintenance: the fly screen rattled all night in the wind. There were fresh towels when we arrived, but these were not replaced during the week long stay. There was some confusion over payment, with both Agoda (who I booked through), and the apartments charging my credit card (later refunded).

Stayed four nights. TV did not work for the four days we were they. Asked to speak to Manger and was told no they would escalate the compliment.
My compliment was never addressed.
Front desk staff were unprofessional.
Noise from the food Cafes across from hotel was loud which went until late at night.
Would not recommend staying here.
