It’s an amazing place to reconnect with old school memories. The old classroom, the benches, the Blackboard, the chalks. The gramophone, the old telephone, the old teleprinter. There are lots of things to see in an small place. You can get the free guide books. You can also buy nice gifts. The staffs are really friendly.

People there were very friendly and knowledgeable. They provided maps and valuable information.
We expected our visit there would be just to gain information about the area, but as well as that we experienced an informal, very pleasant chat with the staff.
Thank you.

Super helpful friendly staff. Loads of brochures and interesting take-aways. This info center also features an 1800s classroom all set up as it might have been at that time. Well worth a visit if you want to explore the area.

This building was first known as St Patrick's and built in 1840. It was used as a catholic school until 1910 until the premise for the school changed and became St John's Primary School in Lindsay Street.

It is now more recently known as Quondong Cottage and a visitor information centre. Lots of history to be found out here and well worth a visit!
