We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had more than enough space for 4 adults and a baby.

It's an older styled home, kept in great condition. We found it to be very clean and homely, with comfortable beds. Our little 1year old was able to crawl around the place safely. Had it been a bit warmer, we would have definitely made use of the crystal clear pool.

We'll definitely be considering staying here next trip to the Hunter, and could easily feel equipped enough to stay longer the the 2 nights we needed this time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It was clean and well-maintained. The amenities, including a beautiful pool at the back of the house, were exactly as described. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was in perfect working order. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

Quite a large family home with 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 people. It's quiet and comfortable here with a large pool out the back for cooling off in. There's a nice balcony out the front with furniture for sitting on and eating or relaxing. The shower is quite good and the separate toilet is good.The house is quite dated inside and could do with some refurbishment but it was clean, comfortable and very good value for money. We would definitely stay here again and if you're looking for value and you're not too fussy it's definitely worth it. Access up the small spiral staircase with suitcases is a bit difficult, wouldn't suit people with mobility issues.

My family (2 adults, 4 kids) have recently stayed at ‘coal d’ vine’ in cessnock and loved it.
Bedrooms are spacious (3) and beds are nice and comfy.
Queen beds in rooms 1 & 2 plus 2 bunk beds in bed 3
Plenty of comfortable couches in lounge room and a big dining table to fit all the family it also has a swimming pool, nice bbq area, plenty of hot water, ducted air-conditioning and a relaxing veranda out front to enjoy a drink in the evening.
We will be hopefully booking this accommodation again (if available) at xmas
The reason we booked this accommodation as it was only a short 10 minute drive to the hunter valley gardens and is only a 2 minute drive to the shops & cafes.
I/we would highly recommend staying here 5 stars

Fantastic property. Spacious & comfortable for large groups with amazing facilities. Super close to Cessnock and easily accessible for wine tours & hot air balloon trips. David and Hilary were fantastic hosts and explained everything so clearly which made our stay so easy and stress free. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this property that had some great features, but also had some drawbacks. On the positive side, the location was fantastic. It was situated in a great area that was close to many attractions and amenities. The property itself was also quite spacious, with plenty of room to move around. The ducted air conditioning was also a plus, as it kept the place cool and comfortable during the hot summer days. The pool was another highlight of the property, providing a great place to swim and relax. The balcony offered great views of the surrounding area.

However, there were also some downsides to the property. For one, the cleanliness of the place left something to be desired. There were some areas that were not properly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, some of the amenities were not in the best condition. For example, the carpets were very old and dirty, which detracted from the overall experience. The kitchen was not fully equipped, and there was no dishwasher, which made meal preparation and cleanup more difficult. The furniture was also not in the best condition and had a strong pet odor.

Furthermore, I found that the online reviews of the property were not entirely accurate. The main reason for the 5-star reviews was that the owners promoted a draw for people leaving 5-star reviews, which is not ethical at all. This made me question the authenticity of the reviews and whether they truly reflected the state of the property.

Overall, I would say that this property has some great features, but also has some areas that could use improvement. If you're looking for a great location and a spacious property with a good aircon and pool, this might be a good option for you. However, if you're looking for a more modern and well-maintained property, you might want to look elsewhere.
