Stayed at Jacoru on 3 which is a lovely property if you are not fussed on the reasons listed below that personally affected our stay. Besides from the negatives, the house is in a great location in a new estate which was really nice with access to a lap pool, gym and tennis courts. The staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process from making the booking, checking in, having any questions throughout the stay and when checking out however, this property unfortunately did not meet our expectations at all and my family and I found this property pretty misleading for two main reasons. Firstly, the beds are listed as king sized beds but they are definitely not king beds and are noticeably much smaller. They are just two singles put together. This is really disappointing as you arrive and expect a king bed but get a much smaller sized bed and need to change sleeping arrangements. Secondly, the property is listed as having 3 bathrooms but what it doesn’t mention is that one of the bathrooms along with a shower is outside in the backyard of the property which is a massive inconvenience and just not practical at all. The bathroom being outside and not inside of the house plays a massive part in the organisation of making sure there are enough bathrooms for a large amount of people so this was just unacceptable and misleading as no one would be using the bathroom at any time of the night. Understandably, there are plenty of flys, moths and insects etc so the bathroom was filled with that along with as many flys and insects that were coming into the house as soon as the door opens. The house was filled with flys every single day and It was out of control. I would definitely recommend a regular pest control attend. In the ceiling of the outside area, there were spider webs and insects all over and it was obvious to see that this property was not properly cleaned. The cleanliness of the property in general was not up to scratch. An example of this is the cutlery tray being extremely dirty. The property itself is not large in size as what is intended to show in photos. The outside seating area is really tight with barely any room to move if everyone is seated outside. You can’t have too many people in the kitchen either as there isn’t much space to move around. This is not a spacious property if that’s what you’re aiming for. At night, specifically in the master bedroom, the creaking sound affected our sleep and it was really frustrating. The noise was loud and constant and it was mentioned to staff who stated it was normal as it’s a timber vs weather issue. In my opinion, this property is not worth what they charge and you can get something a lot better for the same price or even cheaper. Overall, no one was happy with the property but we made it a fun stay for ourselves. There were more cons than pros so I would not recommend this property in the future.

Awesome views and everything you need on site. The only negative was the fact that our room wasn't hoovered / mopped during the daily service. We had a (messy) 10 month old and bringing grass and dirt inside from walks was almost impossible.

Stayed at Unwined at the Vintage, 14 Casuarine Drive, Pokolbin and absolutely loved it!!! A beautiful paradise ...woke up to the kangaroos in the backyard, a quiet serene slice of heaven filled with amazing walking trails, cafes, restaurants and wonderful neighbours (who gave away their fresh produces). The place was luxurious, well kept and well maintained- totally recommend it for get togethers. A perfect weekend get away!

Stayed at the 'Japanese Tea House' last weekend and it was magical! Great house, fits 4 people easy, dog friendly (garden is fenced off with chicken wire so no escaping) , BBQ and fire place which we made use off each night and close to all the great Vineyards of the Hunter.
Also have to mention the service is amazing - we left some coats and they called to let us know. Overall great experience from start to finish.

Booked for a weekend break. Did not know what to expect as I did not make the booking, but I was very impressed by the house in The Vintage estate and golf club. Very handy location a couple of minutes from Pokolbin, 15 mins to Cessnock. Quality properties surround the golf course and we were entertained each evening by the locals as a group of Kangaroos wander through the estate over the golf course. We had a spacious 4 bedroom house, 3 bathrooms with good heating from the wood fire or aircon- brilliant for a group of friends. Clean and well maintained, everything was there to make your stay comfortable, eat out or stay in. Highly recommended.

Excellent for short gateways with the family! The houses are superb with modern furnishings and tech. The location is perfect for staying in or for venturing out for walks/fine dining/golf. Whatever catches your fancy.

Great accommodation options, we were able to book most of our wedding guests into separate houses so we were all in the same area but had our own spaces to retreat too. The ladies in the office were lovely and helped with the booking process a lot. Highly recommend.

A very comfortable lodge for us to stay for 3 days and enjoy the fully furnished holiday house and made an unforgettable trip.
