The Adventure Traveller was recommended by a family member to give Dean a call to arrange our first overseas trip for many years as we were feeling overwhelmed by many changes to the tourist industry.
Dean was so lovely and friendly and made me feel very welcome and made a special point of getting to know more about us first.
Communication was always very clear and precise via email.
Having confirmation paper Trail was brilliant.
Marcella took over all the arrangements and bookings for our flights. Accommodation. Insurance and Vikings Cruise on the Danube.
Always felt very confident of where we were going and what we doing.
Flight to Dubai and then Budapest all straight forward. Taxi there to take us to our hotel. We always had our emails to check in with for any codes we needed and taxi details.
Vikings Cruises were exceptional with their hospitality and service. We felt very special and never forgotten. Slight change around with ships and buses due to flooding on the Danube but never felt short changed at all. Actually given a nice credit towards another Cruise because of the slight change in schedule. We have already let The Adventure Traveller know we will be talking soon.
End of our river cruise we stayed in Amsterdam and once again email communication really helped to know where we were heading after our brilliant taxi ride arranged by Vikings. When it was time to check out and take our taxi to airport all the communication was there for our need always forwarding information onto us that they had received from their resources.
Flight from Amsterdam to Dubai and Brisbane all negotiated extremely well.
We would highly recommend Dean and Marcela at The Adventure Traveller agency.
I am feeling excited anticipating our next holiday and having them take care of everything for us.

Marcela sent me the itinerary of our travel dates. We are unable to return on the dates provided and I asked her via email if she can bring the return date one day forward. She did this and sent us an invoice of almost $500 without discussing first that this will cost us more. I found this extremely unprofessional and unethical. No email or phone call explaining any reason but now you will be charged more.

Glenda arranged our recent two-week family holiday to Japan and it was one of the best holidays we've had. Her selection of hotels, activities (for big and little kids), train booking and connections and overall attention to detail was outstanding. My partner and I were recently referred to book in our next holiday with Devin. Throughout the whole process we have never once been disappointed with the service. Devin’s extensive knowledge of each city we are travelling to is remarkable and always making great suggestions to add to our travel plans. He's been very prompt at responding to any of our enquires or requests. Due to COVID restrictions we had to make a couple of last minutes changes to an existing trip. We honestly thought it couldn’t be done given the timing but he managed to quickly get it sorted for us stress free. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and superb at his job. He has gone truly above and beyond what my previous experiences have been with travel agents. Devin has arranged two overseas trips for me so far, one across Canada and another in the U.K., planning everything according to where I wanted to go. Both times he has made the process so easy, I hardly had to do a thing. I had to cut the recent trip short because of the emerging pandemic, and again Devin arranged the changes and cancellations, which made it a lot easier for me whilst in the middle of the trip.
