We were on a road trip up and down the coast of Western Australia and so looking for simple, reliable places to stay. The Hospitality Best Western in Geraldton fit the bill – a spot to park your car right out front of the room and everything functional but not flash. The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was a bit temperamental but ok once we got the settings right. The room included tea and coffee making facilities, and the bed was comfortable. The room rate also included a decent continental breakfast in the restaurant. Perfect place to stop on a road trip. I have reviewed it separately but the onsite restaurant served a very good evening meal.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel due to the poor attitude of the front desk staff. I had booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance, specifically noting that the reservation was for both adults and children. Upon check-in, we were assigned rooms that were extremely far apart (Room 1 and Room 19).

When I politely asked if it was possible to have rooms closer to each other, the front desk staff immediately refused without even checking the system. I completely understand if such a request is not feasible, but at least some effort to assist or check would have been appreciated.

Additionally, we were not informed about the room types or details. We had to go out in heavy wind and rain to locate and inspect the rooms ourselves. This lack of basic service and unwillingness to help made our stay quite unpleasant.

I hope the management takes steps to improve customer service standards. Guests should feel welcomed and supported, not dismissed.

Very uncomplicated and good value for money. Staff are friendly & efficient, rooms clean & tidy.

"I am very disappointed and frustrated with the security at this hotel. I stayed in Room 26 on the 17th, and around 3 a.m., I heard a car alarm and got up to check. This morning, I discovered that my car door had been pried open. After reading previous reviews, I realized this is not the first time such incidents have occurred at this hotel. I strongly recommend that the hotel management consider installing CCTV cameras or gated barriers. Additionally, it would be helpful to advise guests during check-in not to leave valuables in their cars, as this could help reduce the likelihood of such incidents."

Unfortunately I had to give this appauling accommodation 1 star. I didn’t even want to give 1 star!!! Absolutely disgraceful and a total rip off don’t waste your money!!! The rooms were feral!! They say free break-fast with stay don’t be fooled. On our stay we got broken into, all our belongings were stolen and the old staff member at the front counter didn't show an ounce of empathy just to call the police no guidance what so ever! Like what!!! We paid 224 a night but I in reality it cost us over 1500 just got us to be robbed!! . You might aswell, fork out a tad bit more to have the security on your belongings. Not worth it. Very upset children this morning. Just honestly, don’t waste ur money and stay somewhere else.

We stayed here for 1 night encounter back to Perth. Rooms were spacious and clean. The continental breakfast included in our rate was perfect.
The staff were particular friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist me on an issue I was having which I am so appreciative of.
A lovely place to stay after a long day on the road and excellent value.

We stayed one night en route to Perth. Both the office and restaurant staff were very pleasant. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, with generous serves and the continental breakfast included in the room price was good. It was not far off the main travellers’ road through Geraldton, but we heard almost no traffic noise. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this location again.

The room was simple and clean. We arrived late for check-in, as the office was supposed to close at 9 p.m., but we didn’t get there until 9:30 p.m. The staff were incredibly kind and stayed late so we could collect our key. They also provided a simple breakfast with options like bread, corn flakes, croissants, ham, and cheese, among others.
