As a hotel guest, I found the service and food to be excellent. Nikkita served me both at the bar for a late afternoon coffee and then later for my sit down dinner. Her customer service is outstanding. My dinner was amazing - I had the pasta for main and the apple crumble for dessert. They also have an Argentinian Malbec on the wine list which is a rare treat in Australia.

Very noisy with a bass heavy DJ operating in the Kurrajong room next door. Service was very slow , but the food was excellent. Have enjoyed evenings here before, but will check in future to ensure a quiet meal, not a McDonald's kid fest.

Starter: Crispy Salt and Pepper Squid
Main: Organic Pasta
Main: 300g Angus Sirloin
Main: 250g Tajimi Wagyu Rump
Salad: Classic Caesar Salad
Dessert: White Chocolate & Coconut Panna Cotta

The food was generally excellent - seasoned well and made with care. The garnishes on the steaks were especially tasty, there was a thick and creamy puree with truffle (I think) oil that stepped things up a notch. However the steaks did not meet our standards and was cooked unevenly, yet it was still tender. The panna cotta impressed me the most though, the plate garnishes never fail to impress.

The service was adequate for what was possible. The restaurant suffered from a lack of waiters/waitresses. The waiter that served us was kind, nice and helpful.

Update to belows 0 star. Returned today upon gracious invite. Have to say, this place more than redeemed itself. Management stepped up, took responsibility and applied all feedback given. It was a fabulous experience. Attentive staff, excellent food, great all round experience.

Previous review- If I could give zero, I would! Booked months in advance for an 80th for 10 people. Place was completely empty yet not 1 staff member even approached to take our drink order after an hour. Had to ask after an hour to even have our food order taken. After an hour and a half we got our bread and still not even our mezze. Bread for the table was dumped in fromlnt of one person. Nearly 2 hours in and we still haven't received our mains. No wines available, no table service without constantly asking for help. Would walk out if it weren't for the fact that it's an 80th celebration... completely ruined by what I can only describe as faulty towers.
Update- the tongs had a hair, and pasta had a fly cooked into it, as shown in photo

Average and overpriced food.
See picture below at the restaurant.
Plus small latter, all together costs $23.
Very slow service.
I arrived to the restaurant first a few min before 7 am.
20 min later a group of about 30 ppl arrived.
They were served first and I was late to work as a result.
No apologies from the restaurant were offered.
I do not recommend this place.

Friendly staff and dinner was ok, a bit over priced though compared to what you can wait other places. Fish was nice but lamb was no good. $35 for the fish and $42 for lamb are way over priced...
Had to wait a bit longer for the dinner...

Breakfast was good with variety of food to choose in the morning.

Small portions (seeing older photos) and limited menu unfortunately due to lack of supply from lockdown. Still, it was quite tasty. Service is great - friendly and quick - and room looks like it would have had good ambience in normal times. Hoping to come back and try again when things are back to normal.
