Delightful character hotel close to the centre of Canberra. Chifley's staff are friendly, fast and professional. The restaurant is clean, has a great mood and offers indoor or outdoor seating, additional with heating.
Food is delicious - I had the smashed avo and it was perfect and came out quickly.
Would recommend to everyone staying at The Kurrajong or who wants a lovely place for a meal

A favourite restaurant in Canberra. We've been there for dinner several times but this time for lunch.. While the ambience changes as you'd expect, the service has always been excellent. Flavour and presentation of the food is excellent. Dinner menu is limited, but covers most tastes. Lunch is more suited to business lunches, where you order at the bar. I had a hamburger and I was amazed at the quality of the meat and the overall flavour. A glass of wine or beer was included in the price. It felt like the quality of the lunch food was as high as the dinner menu.
