We recently celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday at The Hungry Buddha, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. Each dish exceeded my expectations, and all of my guests were thrilled with both the quality of the food and the exceptional service. In fact, some guests even expressed interest in hosting their own celebrations there in the future.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The owner also allowed us to decorate the party hall the day before, which made a big difference in our preparations.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every member of The Hungry Buddha team for making my son’s birthday unforgettable.

If you’re planning a celebration, I highly recommend The Hungry Buddha as the perfect venue…

Had dinner here on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself is nicely themed with a relaxing vibe. We ordered a few curries with rice and cheese nan. The flavours and taste of the curries was nice and not too spicy. The rice was soft and fluffy, with the cheese nan being the highlight. There were quite a few bones in my fish curry so be warned for that. Otherwise the prices were not bad and I do recommend if you haven’t tried Nepalese type food.

What a fantastic find to be introduced to by locals last time l was in Canberra.
I took my daughter there for dinner last night. She was starving after a very busy day so we forgot to take pics of the mains food before it wS devoured-
Steamed Chicken Momos with bone broth soup
Dahl Makani
Rice
Cheese garlic naan
Butter naan.
The food was so tasty and the breads exquisite.
We had two deserts one was a unique rice pudding the cashews and pistachios made it quite a treat. l forgot the name of the second it was these small chewy disc like parcels of yumminess.

The service was friendly and the space was welcoming.
