Very cool place to check out. As of mid-August 2018 they weren't on google maps in the world I'm from, that I know of.
Good advice; don't drink a cup of tea or have a smoke in the sacred circle with the fire, n00b mistake there.
Had to type in old Parliament buildings to find them on google maps, glad that is different now.
Glad they have a letterbox.
Mostly pretty cool people, I'm not Aboriginal Australian by genetics but I believe in our country.
I hear it's a challenge living there long term, unless you are willing to put in work to make the world better, skip that for a vacation spot, though some of the sights are amazing.
Not sure I'd recommend a long stay unless you are dead serious about making yourself useful.
I was educated on some things I didn't know about which was very cool and the learning was good.
I believe there is immense wealth in indigenous cultures ability to effectively manage and maintain land, anyone who said Australia was prosperous for early white settlers, was probably exploiting thousands of years of indigenous farming and hard work.
Kia kaha <3 Generally quite welcoming, appreciated if you help out and don't mooch, not really my place to say, that's just the vibe that I felt, spent one night there in early October 2018.
