Such authentic and delicious food! We tried the chicken curry, dahl, and sambal and they were all soooo delicious. Well portioned and worth the pricing. The owner AK was super kind and offered us pickled cucumbers with our meal and was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

Yum! I didn’t think anyone could replace Fekerte’s Ethiopian, and I know this is Malaysian cuisine but it gives me the same comfort-food feeling Fekerte’s did. Got the chicken curry and dhal with rice - so good. Gotta add extra chilli oil and pickles next time!

Great spot to grab a quick lunch, either takeout or to eat at the tables in the alleyway. The food is delicious, the owner is really friendly, and the portion sizes are generous and filling. Highly recommend.

Go to AK’s for a great Asian curry! (Thank me later)

“Cheap and cheerful” is an oft-used term, and it’s not always a compliment. But, in the case of AK’s, I would say cheap, cheerful and very, very tasty…and then you know it IS a compliment.

Yes, lots of places offer a chicken curry and a sambal udung (prawn and pumpkin). But AK is the maestro of herbs, spices and cooking to perfection so that you enjoy the maximum flavour with the minimum fuss.
