Great overnight stay in a queen room with ensuite. Fire pit in evening and bbq facilities were excellent. A great stay. The room was small and clean but quite old… no complaints about ensuite facilities water was hot for the shower. The friendly owners made the stay very pleasurable.

Interesting place to stay and bed comfy enough-however en-suite and floors neeeded a decent clean!! There was a “slimy” coating around the taps and shower floor was full of hair and debris. Would not stay again….especially at $143 per night!!

We were travelling with our camper trailer/rooftop tent and swag when a severe weather warning hit. We got into town, looking for a place to stay. We hadn't planned this, so we hadn't booked anything.
The owners of Outback Accommodation couldn't be more helpful to us.
So, thank you very much.

Clean , neat donga style accommodation in a setting with trees, garden and green lawn.||Denise and Harry were very welcoming and they have set up a well equiped communal kitchen, provide continual breakfast supplies and also have a small convenient store on site .||The fire pit is lit each night and creates a pleasant spot to enjoy a glass or two.

We stayed one night at this venue. The owners were very friendly, the rooms are old but very clean and bed comfortable. We used the kitchen to cook dinner and were surprised to be supplied with a continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Have been stopping at Outbank Accommodation since November for work, night here and there as I travelled through with wind farm components. Harry and Denise are wonderful people and can't do enough to help. Stayed mainly in the overflow dongas in the old mining camp. Sadly they are no longer available. They have 4 rooms with ensuite, and 2 with shared bathroom near the office. Shared kitchen with every thing you need. The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable. Highly recommend Outback Accommodation to anybody.

April 1st 2024: Me and mate Dave just spent the one night but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Owners Harry and Denise are lovely people, got a great welcome and the 'grand tour' from Denise. The Donga accommodation is just fine, typical outback, but clean and well presented with everything you need. Lovely outside social area with well tended shrubs and flowers. So good luck to Denise and Harry with their fairly recently acquired business.

We spent a night here with our 3 teenage kids in December. Wish we could have stayed longer. Denise was great. She had the aircon on in the rooms, the bbq was ready and the kids were so happy to jump in the pool after a long drive in 38 degree heat! En suite rooms were clean and comfy, camper's kitchen with chilled drinks and breakfast. Lot's of great advice about places to see and a lovely bowl of chilled fresh fruit! Thanks Denise. What a find!
