What a great couple of day stay. Good 4bee tracks to go see. The washing machines are good as is the showers. The Cafe was good for a early mornimg coffee. The meals at night at $53 / person. No thanks. I heard mixed reviews on it. Bit expensive for what you got. Overall helpful friendly staff. The BBQ area is a good spot for a chat at dusk.

Excellent station stay, 3 nights, 2 adults powered site, pre booked for unpowered and swapped due to overcast weather., thanks to very helpful staff.
The sites circle a grassed and treed area, with power and potable water for each, ours was wide enough for the car and the van although some guests stayed hooked up.
Amenities were clean, two showers and two toilets, each side and a laundry with 3 washing machines. Plenty of line space for drying.
The cafe offered evening set menu meals with bookings required. Fresh coffee and terrific carrot cake was available daily from 730 .
We tried both, the evening meal was shared across large table settings and included two courses and a drink. The brisket main and blueberry pie dessert were delectable accompanied by a palatable sauv blanc. (Or red)
Fresh coffee and a house special carrot cake were worthy of a repeat visit the next day.
We also ventured out onto the station 4WD tracks and the scenery was terrific. Definitely worth a few hours sightseeing.
The station stay also offers a camp kitchen, fire place and seating as well as a child friendly area. Dogs are allowed and there were lots enjoying the open space during our stay.
Highly recommend a visit if in the area…a couple of hours from Tom Price or Nanutarra.

Very social station stay! Good sites and amenities, nice cafe. Lovely walk for sunset. Didn’t get a chance to do the 4wd track but heard it was gorgeous. Very very limited Telstra service and seems to come and go.

Not my style.. I found it boring. Too quiet. And no noise after 8pm now that's ridiculous. Won't be going back. Also don't sell fuel so you have to drive 100km+ to Paraburdoo.
Sorry not happy.

Fantastic friendly owners and staff. The camp is super comfortable and scenic. I flew my small plane up, and they got in fuel for it. I spent 3 days flying over all the fantastic scenery. I will bring my wife up next in a caravan to show her. I would strongly reccommend a flying trip to any other aviators, as it is the perfect base to see the Pilbara from. A great stop over to meet and talk with all the other travellers.

What a great surprise! We thought we were just breaking a long road trip - but Cheelah Plains ended up being somewhere we wished we'd been able to stay longer. Our room was small but very well equipped with a little kitchenette and ensuite. The mattress on the bed was too soft - but I have a bad back so am more susceptible than most to average mattresses and in the scheme of things this wasn't important. The two course meal which we booked in for, was delicious and we enjoyed meeting some other travellers on communal tables. The breakfast which was included in our night's stay was also excellent (as was the carrot cake which we took away to enjoy on our travels). The highlight for us was the little hill behind the camp. It provided the most magnifient views of sunrise and sunset over a vast plain. We wished we had the time to visit more of the station.
