Amazing! Highly recommend! Perfect place for a getaway. Really wish we stayed longer than just two nights. Wood fire was amazing during the freezing cold nights. We were in chalet two and had just enough signal to send/receive messages and notifications but not enough to receive calls. Owners and their puppa dog Cheif are very welcoming and pleasant. Will certainly return soon.

Friendly owner who checked us in upon arrival.

The chalets are positioned roughly 100m apart, we had one furthest away from the homestead. The chalets are very quaint and offer that cozy cabin feel, fairly creaky but that adds to the atmosphere. The hot tub was great, the light function didn't work but that was no biggie. Chalet comes complete with a fireplace and plenty of wood to keep you warm. Kitchen is perfect size to whip up a meal for a couple. I was quite pleased with the chalets, the only downsides I found was the floor in the shower was dirty, the pressure of the shower was poor but this might be unavoidable due to the chalet setup, the biggest downfall was the bed - the bed was very soft and when two laid in the bed it would collapse in the middle and both of us would roll to the centre, it was a real downer on the experience as I didn't feel rested. Besides that it was good, we visited the nearby towns for breakfast and dinner, Nannup was great and the brewery there was a stand out with their meals, beer and live music.

This place is good but with a much better bed it would be amazing.

A very wonderful, cosy, and relaxing place to get away for the weekend. The hot tub and fireplace makes it a great autumn getaway location.

The place was clean, and care was taken to make it as comfortable as possible, with the fire already lit on arrival.

I'll certainly be returning!

Cannot fault the location & cabin. |Would be great if they had a working DVD player, cleaned the shower, were able to provide a shampoo(the one left in the cabin was empty & used) & most important of all really is perhaps a new oven nearly blew ourselves up trying to light it. |Lovely place to escape to thou.

Cute, cosy cabin. Really lovely to wake up to the sounds of birdsong and the beautiful forest around. Nice to have the spa bath on the private verandah (although the spa did have an unpleasant odour). Shower is very small! Lighting in the cabin is very dim- some LED task lighting options for reading, writing, puzzles etc would be beneficial. Plenty of wood for the lovely wood fire.
I would say the cleaning needs to be stepped up a notch or two. Greasy pans in the cupboards, dirty/mouldy plug in kitchen sink, mould around taps in bathroom, crumbs and debris in cutlery drawer, dusty under bed, throw blanket looked like it needed a good wash.
All in all, a pleasant stay which would have improved with a good old- fashioned scrub!

This place is just amazing. |So quiet, charming, peaceful.|The chalet was amazing, beautiful inside and out, bed was super comfy, air conditioning worked really well, the hot tub could have used a little bit of cleaning, but apart from that it was a perfect stay.

Wonderful fully self contained accommodation. No internet service or mobile service so you can unplug and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forest. Enjoy the softy spa on verandah with some local cheese and wine. We loved the privacy and the quiet. August is best time to visit.Frosty mornings with the mist through the valley, just beautiful. Festivals are on later in that month. Tulip festival was amazing the weekend we were there. Your hosts Antoinette and Andrew were lovely and so is their dog, Chief who loves a pat. Abundant wildlife, birds in particular will visit you. Shops are 17kms away so be aware of that. Also the chalet is 2 storey and has a spiral staircase to the bedroom so if you have any problems with stairs you may not enjoy it as much. Brand new gas stove and oven, fully sized fridge which wad great for a long stay. We loved it so much and we will be back next year

Had the most amazing weekend getaway.
The owners were lovely, the chalet and the views were beautiful.

Loved relaxing in the spa on the deck watching the sunset and waking up to the sounds of birds and hanging out with the kookaburras
