This is a convenient roadside stop just south of the Shark Bay Road turnoff along the NW Coastal Highway that makes for a convenient place to off off the road for a rest break or petrol fill up. They have clean toilets, little indoor cafe, a fair range of take-away food and drinks as well as a gift shop section.

You'll find Shark Bay World Heritage and other W.A. area tourism information posted outside. Overlander also offers basic accommodations if you fancy pulling in and calling it a night here after long day drives.

Just stopped here on way to Wooramel Station 19/7/24. Very clean guys and gals facilities. Very good food selection, the healthy options of salad, wraps, yogurts looked fresh and enticing. Good selection of hot food take away and order to eat in.

Great service at this roadhouse. The food selection features fresh food, homemade and healthy choices - so much better than the normal (sub)standard food at other roadhouses. And the coffee was great too! We felt welcomed by the smiling staff and the facilities were clean. Would recommend for a stop off for refreshments and to stretch the legs.

Have stayed here several times in the past 5-6 years but this latest stay was the best. Great service, good food for dinner and decent servings, quiet and clean pre-cooled rooms (no plastic on mattress anywhere these days is a blessing!), and the water quality has improved out of sight - no hard bore water coming out of the tap. Better than Perth water even. Highly recommended.

Great service, we have stopped for fuel a number of times and stopped overnight staying in the accommodation for the first time. Restaurant was great, happy to accommodate 2 small children, food was fantastic. Rooms were clean and showers were great. All water, power ect is done on site which is very commendable.

The staff were delightful. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food we ordered, which was prepared freshly for us. A good range of lunch items, including vegetable sticks so you can avoid deep-fried cafe fare. The toilets are clean and well-maintained. The EV charging station works smoothly and is well-located next to the shop.

Nice little place, good food, fuel price pretty good, we stayed powered site for $30 as it was over 40 degrees. Shop is clean and tidy fresh sandwiches etc and hot food as well. Friendly staff, clean amenities. ? 31/10/24

The Overlander is a stop just south of the Shark Bay Road turnoff along the NW Coastal Highway.

We were travelling in our caravan and booked a powered site for the evening. The facilities are clean and well equipped. There is a barbeque area which is also very clean.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the shop is well equipped with the necessities.

We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this stop. that makes for a convenient place to off off the road for a rest break or petrol fill up. They have clean toilets, little indoor cafe, a fair range of take-away food and drinks as well as a gift shop section.
