We have spent three nights in Northampton, visited the visitors centre twice and both times encountered very helpful ladies. The RSL complex is very informative. Informative in main street about the AFL players from this area is interesting. As recommended we went to the motors and machinery display, very worthwhile. Beautully kept gardens throughout the town. The sheep are an attraction.
However, the botanic line walk did not deliver. We could see a lot of work had gone into setting up this botanic garden but it's now being choked out with weeds of all types, wild oats, Cape weed, Patterson's Curse, sour sobs, couch grass, all growing through the pathway as well as the gardens. A big disappointment!
Would not recommend that walk to anyone.

RV friendly park. Clean toilets. Ability to stop over night.

Plus decent park for the kids to have a play in on the way through. Cafe nearby to grab a coffee too.
