This place was amazing! Oversized room, nicely furnished and oh that bathroom... complete with a freestanding stone bathtub. Staff were friendly and attentive. Better than some 5-star places I've stayed in. The only drawback for me was no desk/table in my room so I had to work/eat from the coffee table, and a pod coffee machine would have been nice. No room service either, but a very well stocked minibar and a restaurant on the premises. Will definitely stay again.

Wow! The Place to stay in Canowindra! The rooms are spacious, super clean and just beautiful. Check in communication was very clear and super easy. When you walk in the room smells divine and there are beautiful personal touches of Lavender on the towels and in the bathroom. The rooms have been recently refurbished and they are stunning and very comfortable. Bathrooms are beautiful, shower pressure and hot water was perfectand the towels big, white and fluffy. Shower is an easy walk in shower which was brilliant. We stayed in a King Suite and the bed was very comfortable and made with beautiful, quality bed linen and cushions. The Mini Bar had everything you need Wine, Beer, Gin, Soft Drinks, Chocolate, chips and cheese and crackers all at reasonable prices. There were two balconies off our room which was a great spot to enjoy cheese and crackers and watch the world go by. The motel is walking distance to town, but very quiet at night. The Blue Jacket is the best place to stay in Canowindra and is great value for rooms of such a high standard.

We went to Canowindra for the annual Baroquefest, and didn't know what to expect from our country motel accommodation, where we stayed for five nights. The Blue Jacket Motel was delightful and certainly exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed, a sofa, armchairs and coffee table. The verandah was sunny and the outlook so pleasant. It was quiet! There was a refrigerator, a microwave, kettle, and toaster so some self-catering was easily done, especially for breakfast. The shower had not one but two shower heads! The proprietor, Jason, was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for better and we highly recommend it.

The reviews still didn’t prepare us for the beautifully presented room. The double glazed balcony doors and super comfortable bed made the experience even better.

Don't judge a book by its cover. We loved our stay. The room was exceptional. Jason was super helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.
We also really enjoyed the restaurant attached. They aren't affiliated but super nice and paired well.

Travelling alone, I was met by the friendly host who had put on the heater and electric blanket and ensured that I had everything I needed. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, luxurious bathtub with rose petal/salts and other little bits of attention to detail. Lovely cup/saucer instead of a mug to have a tea. Well stocked bar.
I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would stay here again if passing by.

Stayed last night. Beautiful room with lovely touches, bathroom is spacious. Great bath. Super comfortable bed. Double glazing ensures a good nights sleep. Enjoyed the local white wine from the mini bar on the balcony. Highly recommend. Jason was very responsive with communication. Thank you.

Undoubtedly the best motel I’ve encountered. Huge room, pristine condition, beautifully air-conditioned, superb bathroom &well stocked, reasonably priced bar with porch overlooking sleepy township below. Top it off with perfectly fine on-site restaurant. No-one on site for check in if that matters to you but in our case it went smoothly anyway. Thank you sincerely. Full marks
