We were so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, much of which was due to Nellie and her team. Nellie was very helpful in answering the various questions we had throughout the process, created a detailed timeline for the event (and was able to pivot when there was a hiccup with the shuttles the day of), and helped everything come together. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy ourselves the day of without her and her team's help. She was exactly the type of planner we were looking for!

We used Nellie Hill Events for our wedding this past May in Westchester, New York and we could not recommend Nellie and her team more. We looked at many planners but felt that Nellie was the best fit for our needs and what we wanted out of our wedding day. She was responsive, provided excellent vendors and was helpful with every detail. She created a beautiful design based on our preferences and executed it perfectly. Leading up to the wedding Nellie and team handled all of the vendor coordination, communication and family questions. She created an in-depth wedding timeline for our wedding weekend which allowed it to go so smoothly and seamlessly. Nellie and her team handled everything on the wedding day so we didn’t have to think about anything and could just fully enjoy ourselves. We truly could not do it without them and can say we had a perfect wedding because of Nellie Hill Events.

Nellie and her team are incredible and we couldn't have asked for anything more for our wedding. They greatly eased the stress for us on our wedding day, and were on top of every detail and issue as they occurred. For example, it happened to be a rainy day, and they were understanding of and accommodating to all of our concerns. It ended up being a wonderful day regardless of this setback, and they definitely played a major role in making sure everything went smoothly. We are so thankful for their patience, commitment, and professionalism, and cannot recommend them enough!

Nellie and her team were a fantastic help in making our day run smoothly. Their experience of putting on gorgeous weddings and knowing what to ask and what to look for made me feel like I was in the best hands to ensure a great event. Nellie was organized and professional, but she was also warm and flexible. She helped us solve for gaps we struggled with ourselves (i.e. renting and setting up a dance floor in the forest) and she stayed til midnight while we navigated the shuttles getting all our guests home safely following a perfect event. Like all brides, I was mentally prepared for something to go wrong, but nothing did. I got my dream wedding, and it's not lost on me that Nellie and he team played a big role in making that possible!

Nellie was a fantastic day of coordinator for our wedding! From her calm demeanor and positive attitude to her fantastic attention to detail, I couldn't even begin to imagine not having her there that day. We had to activate our rain plan and switch up the timing of a few things on the actual wedding day, but Nellie and her assistant made sure everything went off without a hitch. No one even noticed that there were last-minute decisions being made! We got compliments all evening on how great the event went. I would recommend her to anyone I know in the area.

In short, working with Nellie was lovely from start to finish. Nellie and her team were a wonderful, steady set of hands to guide my husband and I through a relatively quick planning process. She was patient in moments of our indecision, enthusiastic about even our wackiest of ideas, and confident in execution of the logistics that cemented the event together. Day of, I couldn't have envisioned a more upbeat, genuine, and calm crew. Nellie and Sequoyah made a day full of inclement weather run so, so smoothly. They kept us on schedule, added to the festivity with their positivity, and in the ultimate pivot, darted out mid-reception for emergency Happy Meals for the kiddos who weren’t into the grown-up dinner being served.
