Kim and CJ are a dream team... and Ivana, too! We knew we needed wedding planning help when we landed on a venue offering only the property. We opted for partial planning, day-of coordination, and some design assistance and the VNE team exceeded our expectations in every way possible.

From the very beginning, Kim's professionalism and attention to detail were evident. Our initial meetings were productive and reassuring. Kim took the time to understand our vision and priorities for the big day and even helped make decisions when decision fatigue set in. Despite the long drive, Kim also drove to Vermont for a venue visit with us and even attended our tasting.

On our wedding day, Kim, CJ, and the weekend team handled every logistical detail flawlessly, ensuring everything ran smoothly and according to plan. From coordinating with vendors to managing the timeline, they kept us stress-free and allowed us to enjoy the celebration with our friends and family fully. Kim, CJ, and the team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the property come to life, while Ivana spent the day at the bride's house to ensure every aspect of the day ran smoothly. No questions were unanswered, and she was always one step ahead of us.

The team transformed our venue into a dreamlike setting that captured our personalities perfectly. They even surprised us with a beautiful floral display in a canoe that floated in the quarry pond on the property. Their design choices garnered countless compliments from our guests. It was everything we imagined and more.

I will say what sets Kim and CJ apart is their commitment to personalization. They ensured every element of our wedding reflected our unique style and story, and it truly felt like "our" day. We cannot express how extremely grateful we are to have had the opportunity to work with Kim and CJ of Venture North on our wedding. They are truly wonderful people who care about the couples they partner with and put everything they have into giving them the best wedding experience possible. Planning a once in a lifetime party for your closest family and friends can be overwhelming, but Kim was there with us every step of the way leading up to our wedding day. She was incredibly organized and on top of every detail. Kim came equipped with materials and checklists in a shared Google Drive that helped guide us through the whole process. We loved our calls with Kim - they were always focused and productive, but also a lot of fun! She was so supportive and organized and we felt we were in great hands. “Kim is the best!” was a constant refrain around our home.

The weekend of our wedding, Kim and CJ were absolutely incredible. They coordinated with all of our vendors, ensuring everything was loaded in and set up smoothly. They worked hand in glove with the awesome staff of our venue, Wylder Windham. We were in awe as it all came together. We felt like we could truly relax and enjoy the weekend with our guests.

Throughout the weekend, Kim and CJ anticipated our every need and paid attention to so many details we weren’t even aware of. They were so invested in giving us and our guests a great experience and we felt their care, attention, and support at every turn.

So many of our guests and other vendors have raved to us about their experience with Kim and CJ. Weddings can be stressful with so many people involved and countless moving parts, but Kim and CJ dealt with everyone they interacted with with care, kindness, professionalism and joy.

We had the most amazing wedding - it lived up to and surpassed our every expectation. We are so grateful to Kim and CJ for making it a reality. By the end of it all, they truly felt like family. If you are considering Venture North for your own wedding, you simply will not find better partners and humans to work with on your big day.

I don't think it's possible to put into words how incredible VNE is but I will try to in this review!!

We started working with Kim & CJ a little more than 1.5 years out from our wedding date. From the first conversation we knew they got it. We had talked about just wanting to throw a really great party for our friends and family and it was so clear from the very beginning that they were going to be able to deliver on that.

After we signed on, Kim immediately started connecting us with incredible vendor after vendor. We would have conversations about the vision/what we were hoping the weekend to feel like and she would always have a great suggestion on how to make it happen. The design deck we worked through was so much fun because you could really start to see what the weekend would feel like as we got closer. Kim also always kept us organized/on schedule without making us feel stressed or pressured. It was literally the most fun project I've worked on because I knew I could trust VNE fully to make sure everything was in place.

Once we finally got to wedding weekend, my already very high expectations were completely blown out of the water. Kim and her team were absolutely unbelievable. Every single detail was taken care of and my husband & I (and our families/friends!) truly didn't have to think about a thing. When people ask how the weekend was one of the first words that comes to mind is carefree because I literally didn't have to think about a thing besides enjoying. Also, the design of our rehearsal/welcome party & reception was a million times better than I could've imagined -- truly a vision.

I would work with Kim and CJ at any venue for any event in the future, but for anyone considering getting married at Glynwood (which is where we did) I actually can't encourage you enough to work with VNE. The team's knowledge of the property is unmatched and that went such a long way for a property as vast, and gorgeous ?, as Glynwood is.

I could go on for hours about the team but, all's this to say, work with VNE. They are incredible, caring humans who will make any event the most magical, carefree, unforgettable experience.

I want to give these guys six stars . . . maybe seven. They’re the best!! Our daughter just had a wedding with a LOT of moving parts and fine details. Kim and CJ brought them all together and made the vision come true. It was magical!! More than that, they are fun to work with and wonderful people — family. Did I already say they’re the best? They are!!

We worked with Venture North (Kim and CJ) for our wedding at Mass MoCA. We used them for partial planning, and they came into the picture about 6 months out.

To say our wedding would have been a disaster without them is an understatement. Kim and CJ impressed on all fronts — they were deeply organized leading up to the event, kept us honest and on track, and were very helpful making hard decisions with other vendors and logicstics/transportation. Kim also provided many ideas and supplied things to keep the budget in check.

On the day, they were full of reassurance and we looked to them multiple times to know that everything was ok, especially with transportation hiccups and weather surprises.

This duo is truly fantastic. They listened to our ideas and weren't afraid to challenge us and push ideas even further. They bring a perfect balance: so much experience but willing to try new and different things; super organized but allow time for play; wildly detail oriented but also think about the whole strategic vision.
