Stayed here for two nights during Xmas, great old school motel.Has everything you need for a motel.
Clean and tidy close to town.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Pet and budget friendly.
Great for a stop over or to use as a anchor point for day trips around the south West.

We spent one-night in Manjimup, and this choice of motel ended up serving our needs just fine. The staff were friendly and helpful e.g. we needed some bowls/spoons for our breakfast for the next morning, which they were happy to supply. The room we had wasn't huge (e.g. just a single desk and chair rather than a table), but the beds were comfortable, and there was ample space in the bathroom/shower. These were clean and neat, and the water was hot. The rooms are all adjacent to one another, so if there is someone in a neighbouring room you can expect to hear some noise. A restaurant is also on site, and while we didn't eat here, the menu did look quite good.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and newly painted and renovated with all of the usual amenities found in a Motel. For the price this motel was a good accommodation solution for us in Manjimup and they kindly let us book for one night only which is difficult to find. Booking was an easy phone call. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but we went down the road to Tall Timbers Restaurant which ended up working out very well.

We had a great room, with excellent facilities. Our meal in the restaurant was also excellent, especially the service we received from the very friendly and personable Susan.

My brother and I stayed one night at the Kingsley Motel. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, the Reception was not open to sort out my account. I rang the after hours number and the woman wanted to speak to my elderly brother as they said it was in his name. I had made the booking and paid by my credit card, but they had decided to put it in his name. That was the first problem. I have an email of what I would be charged and a photo of notes I took when I rang the motel to find out the cost of rooms. However, I have been charged $64 more. I tried again to sort it out this morning (Sunday) but the reception was not open when it was suppose to be open. I have rung again but now have to wait until tomorrow for the week staff to sort out. The ladies answering the phone were trying to be helpful but were unable to solve the problem of the overcharge. Positives are the sheets were beautiful and clean and the shower was hot. Not having the Restaurant and Reception open on weekends was annoying. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

This was a major disappointment. When I arrived at 5pm the reception was closed! You the have to call a number to get the code on the lockbox to get your key. You call the number which is a separate answering service. They put you on hold for an eternity, then you have to once again give them your credit card details as security, then you finally get the code for your room to unlock the box. Why can't they simply send the code to you when you receive email confirmation? And why do you need to once again give your credit card details to a third party? They already have your details when you pay for the room. And it wasn't just me. I had to lend a girl my phone after I came back from dinner so she could go through the same lengthy process. Finally I get into the room and for $160 I would expect better. I have been staying at other motels in the south west and this rates very lowly. The motel is 1.6km from town, not central. I didn't have a car so it was a bit of a walk to get any food. A paid a similar price for a hotel room in Pemberton the following day and it was so amazing. If you are going to have a restaurant, you need to advertise its hours. Of course the restaurant was closed on a Saturday night! I rarely write negative reviews, but this place deserved it!

Most importantly clean room & clean bed. Travelling for work, room slightly dated need to modernise the location of power points. Restaurant had a good selection of meals and beverages.
