A couple weeks ago my partner, my brother, and I booked the kayak trip to penguin island. Did we see any penguins? No (it wasn’t the right season) do we regret it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! We had an amazing time kayaking up to see the sea lions, and all the beautiful birds and marine species that inhabit penguin island throughout the year. Our guide Tom was cheerful from the moment we hopped in the van, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the trip. I really recommend this experience to anyone that wants to learn more about the native WA wildlife.Make sure to come during summer for the penguins, and big thanks to Tom for the fantastic tour.

Fantastic from start to finish, the guide was very engaging, informative and prompt. Paddling across the clear water was so beautiful, definitely a perfect way to be immersed in the experience of exploring this area. You're right there interacting with the water, tha paddling is very doable, the sea lions were so funny and while they didn't come over to the boats to play, they did play on the island. Penguin Island is a beautiful spot, so many different bird species. The snacks and picnic provided was great and a nice time to chat to the other participants. There's beautiful sea grasses. So many colours, very vibrant! Great for swim and snorkel

Thank you rivergods for such a good experience we were 8 people and non of us knew how to swim but we felt safe and confident with the instructor and his instructions on the kayak. It was such a beautiful experience we went for team bonding as a childcare group ❤️ and it was fun.

My friend and I booked 2 Canning River Paddle Passes for $30/3 hours on a Saturday (9am-12pm). Meeting point was at Kent Street car park in Wilson. From the start, Maddy provided excellent customer service. She was friendly, professional and gave us a few tips on kayaking to my friend who had never kayaked before. Quality of the kayaks was top notch; there were comfortable padded seats with backrests, waterproof compartments to store valuables and the kayaks looked well maintained. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic day kayaking with Rivergods. It was a very well planned & executed kayaking tour with a small crowd. Fantastic location and beautiful waters, got to see plentiful wildlife - seals, whales, fish and aviary. The snacks and picnic lunch was icing on the cake - a timeless classic. Tour guide was super chill & friendly and knowledgeable, kept us engaged all the time. There was plenty of time to rest and chill on Penguin island with beautiful boardwalks offering magnificent views. Thanks to the super comfortable & modern kayaks, I didn't even realise that we paddled for ~2 hours, super easy on the body so we can focus on soaking the sights in.
I'd definitely go kayaking with Rivergods and highly recommend this tour.
