We are so grateful for Tzo Ai! The wedding planning process, especially in a place like New York City, is incredibly difficult to navigate — and Tzo Ai is a pro. From my very first conversation with her, I could tell she was not only extremely organized and detail-oriented, but also very empathetic and warm.

My now-husband and I both have very busy work schedules, and Tzo Ai often accommodated with meetings that were at odd hours like evenings and weekends, which was really appreciated. Even when she was on her personal summer vacation she still replied emails quickly—I was so impressed! Throughout the process, we changed our minds several times about major and minor aspects, and Tzo Ai was always patient and accommodating. She met in person with us many times—for our site visits, rental showroom visits, caterer tastings, as well as my final wedding gown ‘fitting’ to ensure she practiced bustling my gown beforehand. When there was an unforeseen snafu with our venue the week before our wedding, she negotiated with them to throw in an amazing add-on without us even asking her to—essentially, Tzo Ai came up with a better solution than we could have!

Something that struck me was that every vendor that we interviewed kept telling us that we were so lucky to have Tzo Ai as a planner because “she’s the best!” And I can truly say she really did find the best vendors for us. Every single vendor exceeded our expectations—food, cake, hair and makeup, flowers, DJ/band, lighting, etc. Her experience and artistic vision really helped guide the overall design of our event too! Finally, the day-of coordination was amazing; Tzo Ai and her helpers were extremely professional and kept every detail perfect. It rained throughout the entire day, and they stayed flexible while frequently checking in with us and keeping us on schedule.

Our wedding day was truly The Best Day Ever, more so than we ever could have dreamed of, and we owe it to Tzo Ai—The Best Planner Ever!!!

We couldn’t have found a better planner to work with on our wedding than Tzo Ai. We decided to have a wedding in the Hudson valley area despite the fact that our family all lived out of state in different states, and so having an excellent planner was especially critical! Tzo Ai is clearly very experienced in wedding planning and treats every event like it is her own. We had less than eight months to plan our wedding, but with her extensive network of vendors, she was able to connect us to people that perfectly suited our budget and aesthetic and were also all wonderful to work with. Our vendors also enjoyed working with her, which made the whole planning process much less stressful.

Tzo Ai is also extremely detail-oriented – always giving us reminders about details and dates that we wouldn’t have otherwise thought of. Her organization and energy really is incredible, and we found her system of keeping track of the details super helpful for checking in whenever we weren’t sure of something. She also always had an answer for every question. Given our busy schedules and dispersed attention, it took a lot of stress off of us to be able to trust that she would have our backs about any unexpected issues. With the meticulous day-of coordination from her and her team, we were able to fully enjoy the day – she even anticipated that we might want to eat a second helping of dinner because we loved the food so much 🙂

About a year before our wedding, as we started looking for wedding planners, one of our friends in the events and wedding business gave us a short list of planners she recommended. We met all of them (and some others) and it was clear that Tzo Ai was the best choice. She was experienced in planning weddings in the New York City area (and particularly at Blue Hill at Stone Barns – our venue), transparent about the holistic services she provided, and responsive to our specific needs.

After agreeing to work with Tzo Ai, she put together a roadmap for the planning process. Having visibility of what tasks needed to be completed by when gave us confidence that we were on schedule and all the bases were covered (including many we wouldn’t have thought of on our own). Tzo Ai shepherded the process of introducing us to her network of top-tier vendors and helped us evaluate the various proposals ensuring that we remained on budget and focused on the aspects of the wedding that were truly meaningful.

We’ve spoken to many friends who have recently gotten married – some used wedding planners while others didn’t. Looking back at our communications with Tzo Ai (hundreds of emails, Zoom and phone calls) and the amount of work she did behind the scenes, we found her services an excellent value. Her planning process differentiated itself from others we heard about in that she crafts unique events, highly customized to the wishes of her clients – of course, with flawless execution no matter the intricacies of a particular event.

On the day of our wedding, we felt completely at ease by the hands-on performance of Tzo Ai’s planning team (the wedding day includes multiple assistants working with Tzo Ai, which all integrated seamlessly into the teams of various vendors). They handled flawlessly the unique needs of our event (such as members of the wedding party speaking different languages). All our guests raved about their wonderful wedding experiences.

It’s hard to find the words to properly express how much my (now) husband and I enjoyed working with Tzo Ai and her amazing team. We’ve actually tried thinking of other ways we could possibly work with her again, as our calls and meetings brought so much enjoyment. We started working with Tzo Ai 4 years ago to plan our wedding. Through multiple postponements and us moving across the country, she has been nothing short of amazing, understanding, and flexible. From the moment we started working with her, we knew we were in good hands. She has offered many insights that we could’ve never thought of (such as the importance of having a day-of dresser for wardrobe malfunctions), and is well-connected in the industry with a team of amazing vendors. Tzo Ai is also very detail-oriented: she proof-read our guest list, made day-of schedules for our respective bridal parties, packing lists for the wedding day, and made the day itself stress-free. She is perhaps the most organized person we have ever met, always staying on top of deadlines and meetings with all the vendors, even with constant reschedules due to the pandemic over the span of three years. With us moving to LA but still having the wedding in New York, Tzo Ai even attended some of our vendor meetings for us that we were not able to physically be there for. A week before our wedding, we had half of our wedding party test positive for Covid. Through an incredibly stressful time, Tzo Ai hopped on calls with us at night and adjusted the wedding timeline for us almost everyday. As a person, Tzo Ai is the kindest and easiest to talk to, and is always receptive and willing to listen. We are so lucky that she was our wedding planner and honestly could not have imagined working with anyone else!

Having Tzo Ai as our planner was the best decision we made for our wedding. She made the entire process stress free. She’s well organized, well-connected to wedding vendors, and able to build connections with new ones. Hiring Tzo Ai to be the wedding planner for my wedding was the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process. My wedding was October 2021 at Blue Hill Stone Barns, and I started planning the wedding during summer of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsive from day one all the way through wedding day. It was also clear that all of the vendors and the venue enjoyed working with Tzo Ai as well. She worked with me to address every detail of the wedding. I had some last minute changes and questions, and she was able to provide a handful of options and back-up plans to address these changes and always answered my questions timely.

On wedding day, everything was perfect. Tzo Ai and her team managed every detail of the wedding we had planned with grace.
