Mother Nature had different plans for our March 2024 Great Australian Bight tour so the boys at DACA tours made a tough last minute call to relocate the tour to the Gascoyne, one of the only places in WA not currently wet/under water.
Throwing together an itinerary a few days out was a challenge that the boys at DACA tours rose too!
Hitting up part of the old Gascoyne Dash track through stations east of Carnarvon, then riding the previously unridden Kennedy Range’s in rather HOT conditions, followed by a 3 day coastal run in slightly cooler conditions from Carnarvon to Coral Bay and back. The planning and setup was on point, just like the food! Great bunch of lads on tour, great times, EPIC riding. Highly recommended the tours the DACA boys provide. I’m already contemplating my next tour!

Just did the Great Australian Bight tour, second tour I have done with DACA. All the DACA boys are awesome, the tour runs like a well oiled very flexible machine. Great food, support and riding is a given on all tours. The awesome bit for me is the things you discover you never expect. For a deserted corner of WA there is a lot to see and a lot of history out there and the scenery changes enormously from the bush to the Nullarbor treeless plain, coastal cliffs and absolutely beautiful beaches. Where else can you pull up on your bike, harvest some seafood off the rocks and cook up a feast on the open fire!!! Way too many photos to post and you have to do it to appreciate it fully. JUST DO IT!! Life is short.

DACA stands for Desert And Coastal Adventures and they aren't kidding. I joined DACA Tours on their Esperance/Great Australian Bight trip in March 2021. On day 1 we started the 1000km+ trip in Cape Arid, Esperance. Then we rode to Mount Ragged and made our way into the Nullarbor. On the next day we rode down to Toolina Cove in the Great Australian Bight and along the cliffs towards Bilbunya Dunes (biggest dunes in southern hemisphere). On the last few days we cruised through salt flats, swam at the pristine beaches and then we rode along the beach to the pub! I made friends for life on that trip and I'll never forget the good times we had. They cook a serious feed too...

Did a day ride about a month ago as a meet n greet for an upcoming tour. Was an excellent day out on the bike. Batesy's knowledge of the area and passion for the sport made for a great experience. He read our group well and tailored the ride to suit our ability. Can not wait to get out on our tour.

The adventure of a lifetime. Not for the faint hearted, sundown to sunset action.
We found them at Big Boys Tours expo and they took us on an intro ride in the Harvey hills.
We set off on a 5 day tour of the Great Australian Bight desert, dunes and beaches.
Without much pre-experience on bikes we were a little out of our depth, but the boys encouragement and enthusiasm got us through.
We made some life long friends and shared many great experiences in places few others will ever get to.
A truely spectacular mental and physical challenge. Great food, ambiance and comfortable camp amenities.
The team from DACA Tours are very friendly, professional and accomodating, would recommend to all- not just for the boys!

Recently completed the Great Australian Bight tour. Was hands down the best holiday I’ve ever done. Batesy, Pat and the crew have created an experience that will be hard to top. Amazing scenery, great blokes and amazing chefs. Never went a day without a smile on my face. 10/10 will be coming back for another tour.

Just finished ‘The Great Australian Bight ‘ tour with the crew from DACA… ( my 2nd tour with these guys…did the Outback tour in 2019)
Wow.. words actually can’t describe the overall experience these guys provide. This is by far one of the best things I have done and will remember it forever. The riding , the passion, the knowledge, the scenery, the food and the comradeship that you get with these great bunch of blokes is unforgettable.
Do yourself a favour and call Batesy to book a tour.. you won’t regret it and will have new friends for life.

Incredible adventure run by an ultra professional team of enthusiasts. This is a potential life changing trip - do yourself a favour, book a tour. It’s incredible value for what it is and absolutely unique.

Imagine being picked up, bring only your bag of cloths and gear and the rest is done for you. Flights, food and accomodation….Well that and over 1100kms of multi terrain riding on modern high performance bikes, fully maintained throughout the trip.

Well done guys, hope to do it all again soon!!
