Neuseeland at its best!
Together with Suzee we had a wonderful time in Wellington and surroundings. Suzee is a excellent guide with wide knowledge in history, culture and nature.
The tour was well planned and comfortable with a brandnew minibus.

We spent four weeks touring New Zealand and Australia and one of the highlights (by far!) was touring Wellington with Suzee from uTours. Suzee responded to my tour inquiry almost immediately, and expressed genuine curiosity about what we were interested in to be sure to tailor our time in the city specifically to our desires. All her pre-tour communication was clear and helpful and heartfelt – I felt as if I knew her before we even arrived in Wellington. She was there, right on time, waiting for us when we disembarked our cruise ship; she is so warm and genuine, it felt like being picked up by a friend. Suzee was determined to show us a good time. And she did! It was a spectacular day all around. We saw so much of the city and its surrounds, learned quite a bit about New Zealand’s history and life in Wellington, took countless pictures and laughed a LOT! Suzee even went halvsies on lunch with me so I could try two entrees – that’s commitment. It’s clear that Suzee loves her hometown, and enjoys showing it off to others. When I think back on our travels, our day in Wellington with Suzee is one of my most cherished memories from the trip. Can’t say enough good things. If you’re wondering if you should book a tour with uTours… do it! HIGHLY recommend!!!

We had the absolute best tour of Wellington with Suzee! In reflecting on our day, it’s hard to believe how much we packed in, yet how unhurried and peaceful the day felt. Suzee poured a lot of time, thought and preparation (including an introductory/planning call well ahead of our trip!) into our day - so the result was well paced, tailored-to-our-interests and thorough tour. We saw everything we had hoped to see and more in this beautiful city - and had a delicious lunch, coffee and ice cream stop (local food that was tailored to gluten free and vegetarian requests) along the way. Suzee opted to bring us to places that were the locals-known-only version of the typical touristy highlights, so we felt like we saw an even better version of what most visitors get to see. Complete with historically significant sights, mountain look-outs, flora and fauna spotting, trendy/cultural highlights and more, Suzee’s tour covered every beautiful facet of Wellington. Suzee was honest, kind, knowledgeable, comfortable and genuinely welcoming to her hometown. AND she got us back well ahead of sail away time! Your choice to spend a day with her will be an absolute highlight of your trip and you’ll be very glad to have chosen a tour with her over any other group/tour-ship operator. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

We are still halfway through our trip in New Zealand but I am quite confident that this might be the best tour we take all trip. Suzee was an amazing guide, the whole day felt like hanging out with a friend. We pre-booked a Weta tour and she planned the morning around that. She took us to several areas with gorgeous views, old St. Paul's church, the botanical garden, the parliament building and some beach front locations. Oh we also had the best fish and chips...Can't recommend Suzeee and uTours enough!

Amazing personalized sightseeing tour. Suzee @uTours was an amazing guide and helped us make the most of our time in Wellington. We felt like we were with a family member seeing their hometown. Bonus Suzee snapped several photos of my friend and I at the amazing sights.

This is a must do tour! We were fortunate enough to organize our tour ahead of time with Suzee and felt like we were family before arriving. She went out of her way to make sure that the van would accommodate us all and adapted our tour due to my mom's mobility issue. We started our day at St. Paul's Church and the surrounding government buildings. The architecture was breathtaking. We also were able to make a stop at the Wellington Botanical Gardens and the Begonia House. Suzee had also recommended that we have lunch at the Chocolate Fish. Not only was the food the best of the best but we had an amazing scenic view. After lunch we headed back toward town and we were able to get in a little shopping and find some souvenirs & chocolate (my mom's sweet tooth). Suzee was so friendly, knowledgeable and personable. She was my life line before and after we left Wellington and helped make our trip so much more memorable. Suzee was the best tour guide we had on our entire trip and we truly made a new friend. We miss New Zealand already and hope that our paths cross again. Until then, we will keep in touch. We highly recommend UTours as the premier tour company to book with while in Windy Wellington!!! Thank you again Suzee!
