Run by volunteers, this the place to come whether you are visiting for the first time or a regular. There is always something new to discover from those here with the local knowledge. Come up to say hello, have a great conversation, pick up some information, some gifts available for purchase, this is well worth a visit. Thanks to the volunteers for such a pleasant stop here, and for the local knowledge of cool Californian Redwoods that aren't the ones everyone knows about - visited ✅

Staffed by friendly volunteers this centre provides useful info with a smile. Great advice regarding local road closures and detours. We purchased a little piece of art as a unique souvenier of this picturesque town.

Well worth a stop in. I can remember the old water wheel that used to operate nearby. There is an excellent cafe there. There is an art gallery attached with great products. The place is beautifully maintained and clean. We bought a bottle of local wine and grabbed a map of the area. The people there were friendly and most helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. You can get duck feed at the counter and head down to the river to feed the ducks!
