This review is over 2 years in the making and it's a long one! I got married at Projekt 3488 in June 2022. We looked at a handful of venues, and although they were all beautiful, and they all felt like places I'd seen before, or somewhere for someone else to get married. Within 3 steps in the front door of Projekt, I knew this was our place. I could picture every moment, walking down the aisle in the stunning main hall, our first kiss, wandering the gardens for portraits, my mum on the couch by the fire, our friends tearing up the dancefloor under the giant disco ball.

And it was everything, and more, than I had dreamt. It truly was the most magical, incredible, heart filling day of our lives, and still is over 2 years later.

I'm now in the wedding industry as a content creator, and after covering weddings at more than 35 venues around Victoria, I can say without a doubt, nothing compares to Projekt 3488. It is the most beautifully curated space - and Mark and Sandi, and all the staff, just 'get it'.

I had the absolute pleasure of being back at Projekt last weekend to shoot, and as soon as I walked 3 steps in that front door, the tears welled up and every emotion came flooding back. I know I've used the word already - but it's magical.

I got to see the venue used in a very different way to our wedding. Ceremony on the deck instead of the main hall, seated dinner instead of cocktail style, speeches outside instead of in the upstairs lounge. It really is choose your own adventure and you can personalise and craft the experience for you and your guest.

As a bride, I floated on a cloud from one moment to the next, and now as a vendor, I've seen the incredible hard work and attention to detail that happens behind the scenes that creates that experience for couples.

Thank you again Mark and Sandi, for both making my experience as a bride, and now as a vendor, perfection.

From the moment we had our first Zoom call with Mark and Sandi, the deal was sealed. We had our wedding here last week, and it was truly the best day of our lives. All our guests were obsessed with the venue — all the little details, the beautiful garden, the warm and personable service, and the many gorgeous spaces throughout. We used all the different spaces throughout the day to keep things exciting: the tea ceremony in the garden, the main ceremony on the outdoor deck, the dinner in the hall which converts to a great dancefloor later in the night. Mark and Sandi truly went above and beyond, even helping my partner's mum who has limited mobility and attending to her every need. They are absolute pros at this and we did not have to worry about a single thing, leaving us to just soak up and enjoy every single moment. Could not recommend them more, and I would do this all over again in a heartbeat.

Projekt 3488 is the most incredible venue you could ever want for a special event. My partner and I married here in April 2024 and it was incredibly beautiful. We chose Projekt for it's unique decor and attention to detail, and it delivered in every way!
Mark and Sandi have made the venue and the gardens absolutely stunning. They have mixed humour, quirkiness and glamour with delightful effect in the venue. Then they top it off with warm and professional support, so I always knew we were in good hands.

Had our little ‘micro’ wedding here 05.04.24 and couldn’t have been more perfect! It was everything we wanted and more. Thank you so much Mark and Sandi and staff you were so friendly and all the guests would rave about how amazing and down to Earth you were!!

So many photo opportunities in the lovely garden and lighting and guests had a ball exploring all the little details and funky items of the venue.
It was a bit far for some of our guests but upon arrival they all agreed it was 100% worth the trip down and enjoyed their stay in the lovely town.

They were so flexible with catering options and allowed us to have a pizza truck for a fun and cosy cocktail style wedding. Didn’t even have to worry about bringing any decorations or flowers as the venue was enough on its own. Definitely 10/10 - if we could get married here again, we would 😉

Our friends just celebrated their wedding here and boy was it perfect!

Mark & Sandi have created such a beautiful venue, and the atmosphere is electric. We loved it from the moment we stepped foot there for the rehearsal, and they worked incredibly hard to make our friends' day perfect, along with their team.

The most spectacular wedding venue. Everywhere you look is something beautiful and quirky. The boys are amazing hosts, with little tips and tricks to get the most out of your event. The staff are all amazing, friendly and extremely attentive.

Chris and I had our dream wedding at Projekt at the end of July and it was absolutely perfect.
The whole way through, it is so obvious how much love for their venue (and home!) Mark and Sandi have - and everyone lucky enough to host an event there gets to share that love, at least for a little while.

We struggled to find a venue that felt right for us - so many seemed stuffy and traditional and that couldn’t be further from the type of wedding we wanted. Walking through the doors of Projekt 3488 for the first time felt right in a way that neither of us can properly articulate - but it felt like meeting family after many years apart. We knew there was nowhere else for us.

Mark and Sandi are pleasures to work with and know - they truly make you feel so supported and understood the whole way. They think of so many little ways to make your day easier and take things off your mind - which for an overstimulated bride cannot be overlooked as to how amazing that is!

The venue… THE VENUE. There’s not a corner of the place that isn’t packed with character and quirky personality. The gardens are STUNNING and best of all there are so many little corners for people to congregate.

Thank you will never be enough to Mark (expert flower arranger and all around loveable teddy bear), to Sandi (lighting wizard and giver-of-vodka to my husband) and to Kathy (for letting me steal all the apple from behind the bar and probably ruining her cocktails!). We are so lucky to call ourselves part of the Projekt family ❤️

We just had our wedding here and it was PERFECT!

Mark and Sandi were great right from the start of the process all the way through until the end. All our guests were saying how helpful they were throughout the event whilst remaining unobtrusive.
The space itself is beautiful and has so many interesting parts to explore including the upstairs lounge seating area, the convertible dining area (which magically becomes the dance floor), and the gorgeous native gardens for when you need a break.

You get what you pay for and in this place you get so much more.
