Melbourne, the capital of Victoria and the second largest city in Australia, has gained international acclaim for its diverse range of street art and associated subcultures. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, much of the city's disaffected youth were influenced by the graffiti of New York City, which subsequently became popular in Melbourne's inner suburbs, and along suburban railway and tram lines.

I took my daughter, who is a young artist on this tour and it was amazing. The artist who took us on the tour was outstanding, she talked art with my daughter(which I didn’t understand much?), inspiring her to follow her passion even though it’s not street art. We really enjoy Melbourne from different angles, different view points, it was really interesting.

We absolutely loved our Paint Lab experience! The team at Blender Studios were so lovely, accommodating and created a really fun environment for us. A great idea for a work event or friend get-together! We will be back 🙂

Really loved this remarkably interesting Melbourne CBD graffiti tour. It was great to hear about art from a graffiti artist’s perspective. We saw some wonderful art around the laneways, including many small details that we might have missed without a guide. My favourite part of the tour was visiting Blender Studios, meeting some of the resident artists and seeing their amazing work. The wine and cheese were also appreciated. Thanks to our guide Ben for being such an interesting and talented guide!

I had a large school group. The guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate about street art, and great with the students. He was accommodating of negotiating with a wheelchair. Used this group a few times now and they're always excellent.

I'm an artist so I chose a private tour with an artist. What difference does it make? First, of all my artist guide pointed out some of his art on the walls. Second, he personally knows many of the artists and the stories and history of their art on the walls. Third, we were able to discuss technique and application rather than just look: we analyzed. It had to be the worst day EVER for a walking tour. It started pouring rain and the wind made it almost impossible to use our umbrellas. The gutters were flooding, but bless Jess, he stuck with us. The Blender Studio tour was great too. We dried off, had a few snacks and a little wine. It was a day that fed my soul.
