Rajasthan tour Nov 2024.

Had an amazing time in India, the sights were spectacular, we rode through dessert and rainforests, through small villages and well sized cities.

The bikes (Royal Enfields Himalayans 450cc) were practically new all under 3k kms and they delivered and endured the punishment most of us gave them. The terrain ranged from bovine swarmed highways, to bovine infested gravel roads to bovine overrun dirt/sand roads.

The accommodation was good and varied, Delhis hotel was ....charming, the rest were either modern western hotels or beautiful converted old palaces from the times of the heathen kings of old.

Food was also good and practically all included, save 1 or 2 nights.

The guide (Shaeed) and our tour operator (Matt) were hospitable and helpful not to mention entertaining. We had a service vehicle in tow with mechanics too and the bikes were checked daily.

India is not for beginners, it's chaotic, it's loud, it's bustling, it's polluted, but it works and despite this it's beautiful, truly beautiful, one has to embrace the chaos and become part of the organism that functions well that is India.

Thank you Nevermind for this experience. It's unforgettable.

Matt and the entire team at Nevermind Adventures opened my eyes to how best to see a country. I’ve done some holidays and travel overseas before, but nothing has come close to the experience I had with this tour group. I travelled on the Indian Himalayan trip in August 2023 and it was by far the best thing I’ve ever done with my life thus far. From the moment I met Matt at the airport I felt immediately comfortable and welcomed to be riding with 10 strangers for 18 days. The path mapped out by Matt and his team across Northern India is something I would have not ever been able to come up with in a million years. The way each day seamlessly followed into the next was something so carefully scripted all while I didn’t have to raise a single finger to figure out where the next food stop, fuel stop or boarder crossing checkpoints were. It was a very relaxed feeling having everything taken care of while enjoying the ride and the gorgeous landscapes the Himalayas had to offer. I gained so much riding experience, life experience and many strong bonds with those who rode alongside me. Memories I’ll never forget. The experience was a once in a lifetime thing for me and I loved it so much I committed myself to jumping on the next tour for Vietnam 2024 while only half way through the tour.

Matt and Bob gave me the riding experience of a lifetime. Their knowledge and relaxed way of organising a riding group on a daily basis made the trip easygoing and seamless. Their ability to take us to areas where you felt like you were the first people there was excellent. I will be definitely be doing more tours with Nevermind.
