We were led to discover Atoll Travel by our desire to have a luxury surfing holiday. After great discussions with Luke about where to go, what time of year, what breaks were suitable for our skill levels, the best accommodation options, we decided to stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli in the Maldives. Atoll looked after everything. It was all faultless in planning and even though it’s certainly not a quick trip, before long we were getting the boards out for our first waves of the trip. This resort is something else, the accommodation (over water suite), the staff, the food, the environment are all over the top excellent. If you are concerned about the waves, I am an average level surfer and had no trouble. The left at Pasta Point is amazing and the amount of surfers is capped. Sultans right is also a cracker! If you want a surfing holiday, tap into Luke’s vast knowledge and trust his recommendations. (He is highly regarded at the resort and it shows through the level of care Atoll clients receive) We have been twice to the Maldives with Atoll Travel and have not had one issue. We will be back to Atoll Travel for another trip next year. Highly recommended.

We’ve been using Atoll Travel since my first surf trip to Maldives Pasta Point ( Dhonveli Spa ) in 2000 , and have since placed all my family's travel packages ( Europe incl ) with Ian and his staff. Lost count of the trip numbers , but well into the 30's. I understand anyone can book airline tickets online, but with the complexities of multi stage trips , anything can happen, and that pressure I can do without. After simple surf trips, my wife and I ( with bigger multi stage flights / trips ) leave everything with Atoll, and I’m amazed at the patience they show in the “back & forth ” email after email with inevitable trip changes that always occur . ( One Euro trip we did , my changes even had me going cross-eyed ) In the end, I can’t remember one error on their part, and this over so many trips. Glad I ran into Atoll all those years ago, made my life so much easier.

Surfing is the one the great thrills and pleasures in life still free in the world. These crooks have bought one of the most famous breaks in the world and will charge you the exorbitant sum of $2,500 US plus extras to surf it. These crooks are everything that surfing is not about. Absolutely outrageous. Minus one star
