Penny is the best. We visited this centre when we arrived in town and Penny was the first person we’d met in town. She certainly set a high standard. Made us feel so welcome providing lots of valuable information. Cohuna is such a lovely town. We were disappointed when our time ran out as we loved it there. Great town catering for RV travellers. Thank you

It was a quick stop here for the toilets.
But such a beautiful town, you wouldn't know exists, till you drive through it.
We stopped just outside a small lake there, where the information building is.
The town itself has a lot to offer too.
This is another excellent place, to take a break at, while enjoying your holiday.

Great town, fantastic free camp opp o site shops. Friendly helpful lady at info centre. Welcoming locals (a man gave us all a post card). Clean well maintained town and area. Good facilities, playground, swimming area (and a pool). Highly recommended.

Excellent stop off for a world ? of information about the Shire and all it has for the tourist and locals. Visit the beach ⛱️ whilst in Cohuna [no ? 's perfectly safe to ?‍♂️.
Have a BBQ at one of the sheltered outdoor kitchens whilst the kids enjoy the 'flying fox' in the all new kids play area.

Visited the Gateway Visitors Centre Cohuna, last week and was so impressed with the information supplied to us by the customer service attendant, Amanda Scullion, she was a breath of fresh air and somebody whom you could tell really enjoyed what she is doing. A lovely little town with lots to offer, we will certainly return and investigate the surrounding areas more but this time will have our caravan and stay at the RV camp area behind the visitors centre, looks great

Great place some fishing or canoeing along the creek away from the busy Murray River.
Plenty of quiet corners for a peaceful arvo on the bank or in the boat.
Good bird life for the photographer as well.?
