The club is doing some great work to improve the facilities for horses, trainers and patrons. Very friendly volunteers offering free tea and coffee while we watched a track gallop. The work being done is very positive. The rewards will be seen in the next few months. Good to see trainers from the western side coming to Ararat to trial horses.

Great little country race course.
Great atmosphere, not many food choices but I had the best roast beef roll I've ever had. A great day out

Very fine horse racing. A bit pricey. Good facilities for children. The food shops are few and expensive with the Lyons club as an exception. Bring sunscreen, there is not much shade on the place.
