This was our second itinerary booked through 50 degree north but the first fully escorted. The tour was a very well managed small group tour. The smaller numbers meant a more flexible itinerary. The tour included a number of active activities - RIB boats, outdoor & indoor museums, Skylifts, City walking tours, ferry crossings, hikes. The scenery was fantastic.
We also arranged for 50 degree north to put together an additional itinerary for a further 8 day self drive from Tromso to Lofoten Islands which also included further activities.

Our second trip planned by Salla and the team.Iceland self drive . All bookings were great. The company take into account your accommodation preferences and we stayed in some unique places. Cannot fault anything with our trip. The company kept us informed of changes needed because if volcano. Came up with great suggestions for activities. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just done a trip of a lifetime with 50 degrees North. "Experience the Northern lights tour". Very professional company who use excellent hotels, modern transport, knowledgeable friendly guides & a heap of fun activities & excursions to experience in beautiful Norway & Finland. I also had an add on itinerary at the completion of the tour. Again a fabulous hotel in Helsinki, very posh airport transfers & the best walking guide in Tallinn.
Loved every moment. Now I want to see more of Norway in a different season but I did especially love the snowy scenery, just magical.

I have had a wonderful 5 days in Finnish Lapland, thanks to 50 Degrees North. I booked the Finnish Lapland Short Winter Break tour package, and my partner and I truly had an amazing time on the snowmobiles, sled dog rides and simply being in the cold. I was also thankful that the package included the hiring of snow boots and a snow suit. My warmest and thickest jackets were incomparable to proper snow gear.

As someone who had never even snow, I had a few questions and I always received a reply (the delay due to different time frames was understandable). The itinerary was perfect; as it gave us many things to do but also enough time to walk about and explore. Never thought I could just walk to Sweden! The accommodation was beautiful. To wake up with the sight of a frozen river and listen to nothing but the cold air and birds was the best. All of the hotel staff and tour guides were lovely, and I really liked they how had a strong focus on environmental sustainability. I hope to see another Nordic country with 50 Degrees North in the near future.

We had a wonderful time the whole experience including all the staff made our holiday which was a bucket list of ours & our honeymoon, we went out on numerous trips they all lived up to & above our expectations. We went on a 2hr snowmobile sleigh ride our guide was brilliant took great care of us we thing his name was Wellu, the restaurant staff were brilliant they catered to my allergies we can praise this place or the trip enough there are not enough stars to rate this place it is off the charts. Thank you for a wonderful holiday Aurora Village & 50 Degrees North we have memories that will be with us forever.

Just got home from a 12 day trip to Norway and Finland with 50° North. These folks took care of everything. They were so patient with all of my requests, and I wanted to do a ton of things! They made the exact itinerary to fit in all of the places and activities I wanted. We stayed in beautiful accomodations and had transfers between all locations so we never had to worry about a thing. Norway was amazing. The mountains and fjords were breathtaking and the northern lights were the icing on the cake. We went ice fishing for king crab, snowmobiling in the polar night, husky dog sledding, reindeer sleigh ride, and we stayed in the snowhotel and glass roofed cabins. It was a trip of a lifetime and we are so grateful.

I researched many companies, their agents and their offerings, before deciding on 50 Degrees North for a trip to the Aurora Village in Lapland, Finland, and that decision led to a flawless trip. Our US-based agent, Jeff, answered all our questions so quickly and thoroughly and even helped us make the informed choice of when it would be best to go. He agreed with our decision to spend the night in Helsinki before and after our trip north and arranged hotels that reflected our wishes and budget. When we opted not to take the private transfer into the city, he very honestly offered that taxis would be a safe and economical option.
