From the mountains of Slovenia to the coast of Croatia this trip with Camino women was fantastic and I’m so happy I did it. Stunning scenery, challenging but doable hikes, great accommodation, lovely guides, a fun bunch of ladies and lots of laughs. My first adventure as a solo traveller and I wouldn’t hesitate to do another trip with Camino Women.

My trip to Northern Laos was far more than I expected - from a cultural view point in particular; I learned so much about the people, culture, way of life and communities. It allowed me to get up close to “real life” in this beautiful country. The trek was great and not difficult as I was well prepared. There were a few adventures as happens when tracks erode. Clambering across waterfalls and making bridges out of tree trunks all added to the fun! The group dynamics were good and we laughed together and supported each other. Our guide Mr Khone was a real gem, so informative and he really got our sense of humour. As a solo traveller I was impressed with the communication from the Camino Team from start to end and felt well looked after from airport pick up and drop off. I would have no hesitation in booking another Camino trek…. Looking forward to more in the future.

I have just returned from the Portuguese Camino trip. From my very first interaction with Camino Women I felt I was in safe hands. The communication from the team was excellent and the educational webinars helped me prepare physically for the walking portion of the trip. Our guides Liliana and Raquel were very experienced, fun and everything went perfectly. Highly recommend Camino Women and excited for my next adventure with them.

I completed the Morocco tour in September and cannot recommend it highly enough. I wish I was still there! Camino Women were well organised, especially as this was their first tour to Morocco, and with a little fine tuning it will be even better.

We had a fantastic group of 11 ladies, made some friends for life, and had the most amazing tour guide Sara!! Sara absolutely made this trip exceptional. Nothing was too hard for her and her experience was paramount as the summit day was much harder than we were all expecting. We made it up and back though, yippee.

The food, people, culture and places we visited all hit the spot. The Moroccan people are very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better tour as it had a great mix of adventure, hiking, shopping and beautiful hotels. I even got to laugh with a camel. Though do be aware there isn't much time for picking up trinkets along the way as it is a busy schedule. My friend and I stayed 3 extra nights at the end in Marrakesh and I was so glad we did. The shopping in the Medina was out of this world. Take an extra bag!

Thank you Sara and Camino Women. I will definitely do another tour in the future ?. And visit Morocco again ?

I recently had the incredible experience of achieving a lifelong dream with Camino Women. I did the Annapurna Base Camp and Safari trip in October 2024, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
From the breathtaking sights of the Himalayas to the diverse landscapes on safari, every moment left a lasting impression. The memories of this journey will stay with me forever.

The Camino Women team organized every aspect of the trip with the utmost professionalism and efficiency, both in the lead up to and throughout the journey itself. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured a seamless and enriching experience. The team even arranged a surprise birthday cake for me (I had mentioned to them in conversation that I was doing this trip for my 60th birthday)

I had never travelled solo before, and I did have some trepidation before the trip. I’m happy to say it was all unnecessary worry on my part. I was in good company, with 9 other lovely ladies who were in a similar situation. Our wonderful guides made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout.

For anyone considering a similar adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend Camino Women. This journey was truly unforgettable!

If you have any hesitation joining...don't! Cannot fault this company. I did the Slovenia & Croatia tour. Their itinerary was amazing, hikes were challenging enough in parts & so rewarding with the best the mountains/ Alps have to offer. Our tour ran smoothly, our guides Barbara & Monika were so knowledgeable, calm and caring. Our group of 12 women, most having never met before became great friends, having in common a sense of adventure and wanting to make the most out of each day. The tour had a great balance of hiking, local culture including wineries, farmhouse lunches to hiking to hillside homesteads to be well fed and "watered" (wined and dined!) Finishing each day at luxury accommodation where our luggage was waiting. So, my review is 'just do it'!

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent Slovenia to Croatia trek - Alenka and Monika were fantastic escorts, and the experience sparked my desire to try more adventures. Would very much recommend Camino Women- everything ran smoothly with no major hiccups. I can feel the Turkey one calling me.

In August 2024 I completed 9 days on the Kokoda Track with 8 amazing ladies from Australia and New Zealand and our guide set off into the unknown. I expected the track would be challenging and it didn’t disappoint, but oh so rewarding. I had my doubts about doing this trip, but it was something I had wanted to do for a long time, so I took on the challenge and with the support of our crew and fellow companions our goal was achieved…Just do it.
I was totally elated having completed the trek - the last 5kms was incredible, we all joined arms and walked across the line together, it was very emotional & every time I think about it, I have a great big smile.
Our trip finished with 3 days in the villages on the Northern Beaches where we spent time with our porters and crew meeting their families and enjoying the carefree and relaxed village life.
