We recently took 58 students on our annual ski trip (36th year this year). The staff at Tirol were the best ski hire outfit that I have ever dealt with. The level of courtesy, knowledge and assistance made our trip truly enjoyable. From outfitting 58 students to returning our gear, was a complete success. Well done, Tirol sports!

Wanted to book backcountry gear for 1 day, was told we would have to pay for two days because very few companies hire backcountry gear and they would get a two day booking from someone else, fair enough I thought at the time. My friend called to book at the same place a couple of days later, he asked for a one day booking which they agreed to.. so clearly have no policy on this and the first guy was just trying to milk us for more money. Then my friend called to cancel the booking on day prior to it starting given that it is unsafe to be out in the back country and all lifts are on wind hold and he hasn't picked it up yet. They refused a refund, initially he was told they would charge a deposit, but they charged the full amount without consent. He was happy to let the deposit go, but not the full amount.Terms and condition link is broken, just takes you to rates of hire... pretty convenient from them in this situation.

My wife had boot issues with her custom ski boots made elsewhere in 2019 and we came to Kai for advice. He was very friendly and professional and we were so impressed by his thoughtful assessment of the problem. Got us sorted out in the end and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Hagan and the team at Tirol Sports couldn’t be more helpful and professional. He helped a large group of us with everything we needed for a fantastic price. Nothing was too hard and their advice was great. Having gone through other places previously - it was refreshing to experience this level of personal service. The best hire shop at Hotham by far.

The best ski shop on the hill. Wasted lots of time in another shop at Hotham Central before Jimmy sorted my boot issue properly. Even coming in on a day off to make sure everything was perfect. You can see why the pros come here.

Best on Hotham, no question. I've frequently had skis mounted, waxed, sharpened by Jimmy, Kye, and the boys, and the service is exemplary. You want the people looking after your gear, and fitting your boots to live and breathe riding, which is what you get with the Tirol crew. + You won't deal with the crowds or lack of personalised service of the bigger rental chains
