Over 100 species of birds that we recorded and 7 Jaguars sited on the banks of the Cuiabá river in the Patanal to our Cape Horn landing and hike up to the Lighthouse along with all the hassle free transfers made our holiday exquisite!! We returned from our 45 day Sth American adventure about 2 weeks ago. Heather planned our full itinerary around our priorities for places and activities to experience. Everything, from the logistics, accommodation, guides and schedule was so well organised. Amazing company to book through if you're going to South America - Heather was a fantastic agent & super helpful throughout the whole process. We live interstate and were booking a relatively last minute month-long trip. We had a poor experience trying to book with another company and ended up reaching out to Contours Travel with a list of our must-see places, a tight budget & timeframe to see if they could help. Heather was able to get back to us the following day to go over the process, what she thought was reasonable for our budget & what it could look like if we slightly increased our budget. I could tell from the get-go that she was a South America expert. All in all, within a few days, she had everything sorted - flights, accommodation, tours, transfers, etc. We don't regret increasing our budget slightly (particularly as it was conservative to begin with) because the trip far exceeded expectations. Each experience was really unique & felt tailor made to what we wanted to do.
