What an amazing 24 day Silk Road and 4 Stans experienc. A busy, exhilarating and well planned tour with top quality guides who love their countries and sharing their cultures. Using “Polarsteps” app to write my journal and up date family and friends elicited comments of “WOW”. They couldn’t believe all the things we did. So much fun! Most impressive was the integrity of Patch Adventures. There were no hidden costs, the itinerary and expectations were clearly explained (if you really read it), communication was open and support from our guides and Patch staff was impressive. What can I say? Can’t wait to do another Patch tour.

The Balkans Railway journey with PATCH Adventures gave us everything! Seven extraordinary countries over 4 action filled weeks - great sensitivity in the planning, unique destinations & great food & wine to complete our days. Our guide Danijela made our trip even more perfect with her excellent knowledge & caring personality ❤

I’ve just returned from Morocco, it was fantastic! I’ve been recommending Patch since I returned. Our guide Manale made the trip memorable with her local knowledge and organisation. We met local artisans got a real taste of the country and its people. I’m planning another trip with Patch and can’t wait!

I've just returned from the Patch September/October 2024 trip to Iran. I've dreamed about going there for so long, I never thought it would happen. The trip exceeded my expectations. Knowing that you are going to ancient sites like Persepolis, visiting an abandoned village, or staying in a caravanserai cannot really be understood until you are there. Our guide Vahid went above and beyond to make sure we saw and did as much as possible. Of course, there was time to stop for lattes and for wandering markets and bazaars - what's a holiday without some shopping?! The cooking class, picking pomegranates from a tree, having a picnic in Esfahan along with hundreds of Iranian families, the hotels (which were excellent), having a carrot juice and vanilla ice-cream in Shiraz and the many unexpected things we saw and did made this trip surprisingly wonderful. Having said that, the best part was the chance to talk to Iranians of all ages who were unfailingly welcoming, generous and hospitable.

I did the South America tour this month and had an absolutely mind-blowing experience. Everything was planned in detail, staff, accommodation, meals, and tour guides, personalised to every need. The only thing to organise was the airfares. My favourites were the Amazon eco lodge, Machu Pichu, Cusco, and Uyuni salt flats. There is so much to see and experience, quite overwhelming but in a good way!

Uzbekistan was brought to life by our wonderful guide, Botir, with his passion, knowledge and humour. The trip moved seamlessly from one amazing experience to another because of the organisation of the wonderful Patch team. If you want somewhere different this is it! Thanks Patch. I’ll be back for more.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Patch tour to Nepal. What a beautiful country with spectacular scenery, a very interesting culture and kind, generous, peaceful people. Would definitely recommend it as a destination. The tour was well organised with great accommodation, great food and good transport. Our guide was just amazing. She had an incredible knowledge of her country and was always smiling, helpful, keeping an eye on the group to make sure everyone was happy and flexible with any changes to be made. I had a wonderful group to travel with - very diverse and cohesive and supportive. A wonderful trip.
