Had a wonderful tour with Max. He is very knowledgeable about the region, and explained a lot of details about local history and culture. It was hard to book the tickets for the Puffing Billy train ride, and he was able to reserve in advance. He droped us off at Belgrave and picked us up from Lakeside to directly go to the Healesville Sanctury in order to pack more activities within limited time. He knows the Healesville Sanctury so well that he directly showed us all the rare animals we wanted to see, and explained many details and fun factors of different animals. Special thanks to Max from BilbyTravel who made our trip to Australia very special!

We were so happy we booked Bilby Travel for our winery tour day. There were 10 of us on the day and Allan our driver was nice! He was friendly and very professional and gracious about our loud singing and chatting all day! Everything was on time, well organised, all emailing with Max was great and within 2 business days, usually same day. The bus was clean and serviceable. The 4 wineries he organised for us were lovely. Hubert Estate was very loud inside, difficult to talk to people across from you, but it was a cool venue all the same. Staff at Boat O’Craigo were particularly lovely. I asked for and received 4 wineries and the chocolaterie in a 9-hour day, which in hindsight was too rushed, I would just stick with 3 or 4 venues next time to feel more relaxed. But I had been very gung-ho about fitting in as much as possible, so that’s on me. Anyway everyone had a great time and agreed that it was extremely good value for money! Thank you Bilby!

Its been a pleasure liasing with Max on our trips. Fast response & he is nice from the way we are communicating.

Puffing Billy & Penguin Parade Plus:
Our guide Royce is punctual to pick us up. He is quite knowledgeable throughout our Puffing Billy/Phillip Island trip. Royce even planned an itinerary for us and we proceeded according to it which is great!

Lovely he is, treating my children like his grandchildren. Its like having a family member with us. We had a lovely time with Royce. Lots of love to him.

Mount Buller tour:
Our guide Milan is punctual picking us up too. We had a great time talking to him & he is very knowledgeable on the places that are on our way to Mount Buller. We learnt new things too such as Melbourne’s history.

We love the pit stop at Yea! Milan is very accommodating to our requests. Bilby Tours tour guides such as Royce & Milan are gems.

We are very satisfied with the tours & shall recommend Bilby Tours to our friends & families back home.

Max was our private tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the tours. We took the Great Ocean Road Tour the first day and we loved it so much we booked him a second day for Phillips Island. The tours were excellent and well planned to our family's preferences. We were a family of four. The car was spacious, clean and had car seats for the two children. Max gave all the fun facts about the tour along the way and he left you alone when you wanted to be. He knew the local spots to see animals in the wild, wineries, etc. and the best places to stop for food. I would highly recommend taking a private tour with Max.

We took a group tour (7 pax) to Great Ocean Road today and had a great tour guide, Richard. He was very funny, told many stories along the way and time passed quickly, knowledgeable, informative and easy to get along which was very important. He was also very thoughtful as we were travelling with my mum who is 70+ as she was extremely sensitive to rain. He would go to Great lengths to drive to as near to the lookout points as possible so that she wouldn't need to walk far. I would strongly recommend you ask for Richard.

We have a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 grand parents, 2 kids-3yr 5yr). I engaged Bilbytravel for 5days private tour about 2months in advance. Max gave speedy replies and confirmations. He arranged Richard to take us for the tours.

Richard was a fantastic guide! My kids loved him. He was a alert and careful driver. He is helpful and does try to engage us in a conversation. And very acknowledgable in his sharing and brought us to see wild animals like Koala (though it needs some luck). The car was spacious and comfortable too.

Plus: My kids loved the Yarra Valley strawberry picking + Philip island trip, morington peninsula visit for the Ashcombe maze, Great Ocean road... the split point lighthouse a lot!

Recommended for families and people who do not want to be stressed by the hassle of driving overseas.
