We had a wonderful breakfast at Pipers this week. I don't have enough positive adjectives for the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The coffee was so good, we had seconds. The food was great, poached eggs perfect. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable pricing.

Friendly staff, great location, the restaurant was very clean. The food tasted amazing, we ordered southern cauliflower with vegan sauce, pumpkin sandwich, barramundi - fish and chips, salmon and asparagus quiche
Love the salad that accompanied most dishes. Big portion so it’s easy if you want to share with someone

There are a few options for vegetarian and or vegan

I would love to go back to try the other dishes

We also had the ice cream which was really good - looked like it was homemade

The views and atmosphere trump any imperfections Pipers may have. Sometimes I have to wait 45 min for a meal, but their cappuccinos are really good and their food is consistent. Expensive but worth it for the view. Not a fan of their sandwiches, particularly the pesto. Chips, breakfast dishes are all really solid. Such a beautiful building and right opposite the botanical garden.

Nice dining experience on our way to Adelaide and my friend found this place. We sat on deck with a magnificent view. Normally I wouldn’t be amazed if I ordered big breakfast as it’s all pretty much the same taste. However this time it tasted different. The beans are awesome and the eggs are fresh. I specifically love the sausage. Coffees are okay as I’ve tasted so many good ones thus setting up a pretty high standard. Service is also attentive and good. Nice place to enjoy a quite sunny morning!

Lovely place on the lake, indoor and outdoor seating as well as outside takeaway kiosk
Ordered steak sandwich and milkshake for lunch, was amazing, bread a little hard to cut (Turkish break..) but everything else was really good, enough sauce and nicely cooked.
Service was great giving the staff shortage
Went back for breakfast the next day and ordered eggs benedict and big breakfast, really enjoyed the eggs benny, same thing with the bread, hard to cut but again was Turkish so might just be the bread type.
Coffee was good too, really liked the Swan art on the mocha

Breakfast on Saturday started at 10, not 8am just in case you're in early as well. Grabbed coffee and came back after

Visited a week ago. Firstly staff let a family rearrange tables on the deck (I have no problem with that), but the arrangement block the entry/exit point, not good if there was an emergency.
Food wise drinks okay, meal after asking 3 waiters for my meal, it arrived as my husband finished his meal. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

If you are going to charge the prices you do, please provide the service.

We had to get our own cutlery, after being charged $65 for two scrambled eggs (one with bacon, the other with one hash brown), a coffee and other a juice.

Scrambled eggs were nice, coffee (magic) was pleasant.

Please don't take your customers for granted, provide them the service that reflects your pricing. Thankyou

Good food, unfortunately, last mothers day we felt a little profiled as the server who was helping us was making us pay for each individual item we order, whether it was good or a drink, we were stopped while they went to grab a payment terminal.
A party size next to us was not treated to that manner and was served in advance. it may be their policy but it didn't feel equally enforced ?
