We had our wedding at Orchards in February 2023 which turned out to be the coldest February day on record, however Linette and John ensured all our plans stayed on path and went above and beyond to ensure we could still have our day as we envisioned. Linette was incredibly helpful with communicating between a stressed bride and vendors to ensure the day went off without a hitch.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking in every aspect.. we wanted our day to tell a story as you moved through the different sections of the property and the venue did just that. You can tell Linette and John put in a lot of hard work to keep the venue amazing and every little added detail is perfect.

The process of planning the wedding was simple and easy and Linette was never short of accomodating.

The homestead is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed every single moment of our wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests about how stunning the property is and I would highly recommend checking this venue out if you are looking for something with everything!

Absolutely stunning venue! We had our wedding here in December last year and couldn’t be happier. Just a beautiful location to say ‘I do’ and celebrate with family and friends. Linette and John were so helpful and accomodating and we can thank them enough. So many stunning places to have photos taken and different areas to make your celebration your own. Highly recommend.

After an extensive search for the perfect wedding venue, I came across Orchards at Springvale Farm. Aspects which were important in our search included, a property which 1) could accommodate my husband and I, plus our wedding party overnight, 2) a property with an “old world feel” but also had a little luxury 3) something a little different, which did not feel commercial. My husband and I searched for this at the Mornington Peninsula (looking at venues such as Montalto etc.), Yarra Valley (again looking at venues such as Stones of the Yarra Valley etc.) and we also looked through different pockets of country Victoria like Daylesford. However, we chose Orchards and I am so glad we did! This venue allowed us to build our wedding from the ground up, making a decision on each and every aspect of the day, from the soft furnishings, wine list, to the toilets and so on haha.. Meaning our wedding reflected us and our likes.

Linette and her husband, John, worked with us and our suppliers to make our dream wedding day truly magical. Linette was extremely helpful in coordinating our suppliers before the day and they were onsite to support the running of the event, including welcoming our guests and giving the house a hotel-like turn down service to welcome in the evening. Nothing was too much for them and we are extremely thankful for their support.

Orchards provides a beautiful large property where your guests can move around and enjoy different spaces (e.g., the apple orchards, the dam), it can be whatever you want. We wanted our guests to start off the event in the back courtyard with a welcome drink, then move into the ‘secret garden’ for the ceremony. After this, there were canapés on the lawn, then finally guests were welcomed into the marquee. This allowed us to make the property feel like a tiny bit of France and kept our guests surprised!

This does, however, come with more planning and more considerations (things you would not even imagine), but it was worth it. Something which was very helpful was to also get a wedding coordinator for the day.

One of our favourite aspects of hiring the property was that we were able to arrive the day before our wedding and have dinner with our wedding party. Then on the day we were able to see the set up come to life and after the wedding we were able to stay at the house, just the two of us, to soak it all in 🙂

The Orchards at Spring Vale Farm exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website were amazing, but seeing the property in real life was incredible. We were welcomed on our arrival by Linette and enjoyed the provided charcuterie platter and samples of the cider from apples grown on site.
This 3 nights away was a celebration of my 50th birthday with my family, 10 of us in total. It was far better than one dinner or party ever could have been. The large outdoor dining table near the water feature seated us all for dinner on the first night, then when the weather turned cold, the large dining table inside accommodated all ten of us for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We loved the tennis court and the billiard table and wandering through the apple orchard. The big kitchen offered all manner of cooking equipment, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster and kettle and all the crockery, cutlery and glassware we needed for all 10 of us. The master suite, including bathroom and walk in robe was comfortable and spacious.
The whole house was beautiful and provided incredible views of the surrounding grounds.
We could have easily stayed more than three nights - another 1 or 2 nights would have topped off the stay perfectly and the house had ample space for all 10 of us to enjoy.
I felt very at home there and was sad to leave. An incredible experience with my family in such a beautiful location.

An amazing venue that I cannot recommend highly enough. Luxurious accommodation, magnificent gardens and surrounds. We eloped to Orchards and had the pre wedding relax with my bestie/bridesmaid, the wonderful wedding and then the honeymoon all in the one place and we didn't want to leave! A perfect venue for a small intimate wedding - the catering was 5 star quality and Linette, the venue manager not only provided exceptional customer service but soon became a friend who we insisted join us for champagne to celebrate. So much to see and do in the region. We will return in the future and will recommend to all. Please support an incredible business in regional Victoria - you will be glad you did

What an amazing weekend we had celebrating my 30th birthday with my girl friends. Words honestly can't describe how breathtaking the homestead is. I've been to many of the homesteads around Melbourne and this by far is a hidden gem. We felt like royalty!

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend I'll be back for my 40th!
