Good location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Spacious room. Lovely balcony area overlooking water. Very tranquil. Big spa bath but small shower. Furniture outdated but quaint. Staff friendly and helpful and most accommodating. However did have a feeling of a very upmarket aged care facility.

We loved everything about this hotel and it was obvious that it had been recently repainted. It was clean and fresh, all staff were welcoming and the location of the hotel was perfect.
We dined there for dinner and breakfast and there was nothing to fault. As a bonus it was very affordable too!

We attended as part of a state-wide conference. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, staff and management were very customer focused and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food, accommodation and service was of a high quality. The staff were conscientious and committed to ensuring we were comfortable, fed and watered. In particular, introducing staff to the conference attendees was a nice touch and made the experience even more pleasant. Thank you and we look forward to returning when next in St Helens.

The best parts about the hotel are the exterior look, location, friendliness of the staff and food! Everywhere is very clean, rooms have dated furniture with tiny shower cubicles even in the rooms that don't have spa baths, hopefully they'll look into upgrading these as part of their renovations. The beds are comfy and the water views from those rooms are pretty special. The food is of very high quality but decently priced with a good variety of alcohol on offer too, very impressed. I've always camped when I've come up to St Helens and the Bay of Fires and it was nice to stay in a welcoming place, thank you.

A lovely place to stay. Bedroom are large and clean. Shower area is small.
My only problem is I felt like I'm staying in a 5 star nursing home. As I working in a 5 star Nursing Home in Melbourne.
The whole place has the same set up.
Staff very friendly.

Stayed for a long weekend, attending A Festival Called George and found it fantastic. The water view room was spacious and worth paying for the outlook. Fantastic service from all the staff, and a special shout out to those working the extremely busy Sunday after the festival; they kept on top of things and never let their service standards drop. Great location too and would happily recommend

We had no prior booking and arrived to very helpful and accommodating staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bistro food was fabulous and well priced. We would love to come back and stay for a few days next time. We absolutely loved the outdoor decked area and the water views. We would thoroughly recommend staying there?
