Car museum was amazing with these old cars in immaculate condition. Probably better than coming off the original production line. It doesn't feel like a museum. Proudly showing off the cars in mint condition.

What an absolute treat for everyone to see this great
Historical collection of vintage cars and motorcycles.
So random to find this in a small Tasmanian beachside town.
Thanks Wynyard and all those who have created such a time capsule for generations past & present.
$10 adult entry was a little steep, l thought, but I'm glad l went in. Took me 20 mins to walk through, look and read the information plaques.

The tour of the Ransley Veteran Car Collection was fantastic. The uniqueness and quality of the vehicles on display was impressive. Tour guide Colin gave a detailed and knowledgeable account of the history and specifications of each of the vehicles. Highly recommend this to all.

Called in as had found a brochure at the I Site. Great display of Veteran ( pre 1918) vehicles loving restored by the owner of in some cases left as original as can be. Very informative. Value for money

My review is of the gift shop which we stopped by after leaving the Tulip Festival. I found some cute Tasmanian themed dessert plates which have proved to be a hit at home. Everything was well priced too.

Very friendly staff who explained about the exhibit. What a grand display of vintage cars. Also, there were bikes of various sizes and certainly enough to please the fanatics of all things to do with vehicles.

My wife and I toured Tasmania in November 2018. As the owner of a 1925 Ford Model T touring, I simply HAD to check out Francis Ransley's fine collection of veteran Ford vehicles; and of course the other fine veteran cars in the collection. I have to say, this is the first time I have ever shed a tear over a car. Each and every car is still driven, and are all kept in immaculate showroom condition. Each car has a descriptive sign next to each one, telling the story behind each car and it's history. As a passionate fan of Henry Ford, this museum was a must-see for me - this collection is the finest I have ever seen. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on local art and culture. Highly recommended!

Visited on a rainy Saturday morning.
Well worth affordable entry price to get very close to vintage cars including Ford Model A!
You can take as long as you want in the place. And they encourage you take photos!
