Mole Creek Caves - Mayberry, Tasmania

Mole Creek Caves and the caves systems here have limited times and situations that you can go, so call for a booking. I just popped in at 3:45pm, with closing time at 4pm in Winter, knowing I might not be able to see the caves. Caves require a guided tour. They are costly if you have a group or family. Saying all that, the Creek itself was spectacular with all the rain that Tasmania is having this week, and did have last week. The photos cannot do it justice, just how beautiful and powerful the forest and creek are, even if you can’t go to the caves. I loved my little respite! Come!

I recently visited Mole Creek Caves, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning natural beauty of the area. The guided tour was both informative and engaging, with our guide sharing fascinating insights about the history and geology of the caves. The formations inside the caves are truly breathtaking—stalactites, stalagmites, and sparkling crystals that make you feel like you've stepped into another world.

The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to take in the sights without feeling rushed. I highly recommend visiting Mole Creek Caves if you're in the area.

Great experience, excellent tour guide, they are incredibly careful and passionate about protecting this incredible cave. Don't expect fancy lights, touchy feely caves, rather this is the perfect example of an almost untouched (they had to create a walkway and railing) millions of years old cave.

The Marakoopa caves are an interesting place to visit and learn about. Dave was a very knowledgeable guide and knew all the answers to everyone's questions too! Highly recommend. Look forward to visiting King Solomon Caves sometime

Definitely worth a visit. Aaron the guide was super passionate and knowledgeable. About 250 steps up and down, roughly 45 mins return trip.

Had a ball. Good sealed road all the way. Beautiful surrounds and well cared for facility. Friendly staff. Informative and charming tour guide. The caves are an amazing exhibit. Loved the glow worms.

Went for the Upper tour of the Cathedral caves, was a very good tour with if i remembered correct Ben. They were a great tour guide, would go again.

Very pretty caves with amazing structures. Also fairly accessible with the entire path being concreted with lots of handrails. Though still a lot of stairs

This cave experience was amazing. Highly recommend buying tickets in advance, it was a random weekday and some of us couldn’t do the tour as we didn’t book in advance. People were so lovely and the cave tour man was funny and knew a lot! The glow worms were awesome but the cave itself was absolutely beautiful. I am an anxious person but this cave I felt SO CALM. I had absolutely no fears even with my kids with me which is unheard of! Highly recommend.
