We purchased out Spirit of Tasmania tickets happy that it was also helping a charity through TWAC. We then had to cancel our original booking due to COVID restrictions in 2020. All our travelling companions who booked direct with Spirit got full refunds. We were only able to rebook 6 months ahead as Spirit were only opening them that much in advance. We then had to move them again to a usable date. We have now been told the ticket has expired. Spirit will still honour the ticket but TWAC won’t. We now have to purchase new return tickets for car, caravan and cabin at $1,100. Next time we will just donate to a charity ourselves, (get a tax deductible receipt) and book direct with Spirit of Tasmania and manage the booking ourselves. We would also be able to get a refund should it be necessary. TWAC charity does not extend to customers.

Best travel agency in Hobart. They deserve 10 star. All staffs are friendly and provide great deals for holiday package. I recommended everyone to use their service and experience difference compared to other travel agency.

I booked a return trip to Tasmania for 4 adults including overnight cabin and motor vechicle on the Spirit of Tasmania early 2020. Considering Co-Vid had raised its ugly head we decided to take-out suitable insurance and were advised by TWAC of a particular policy that covered us for all events. This was totally untrue as we were later informed a covid-19 event including government restrictions " does not overide our T&Cs as this is considerd a force majeure event. " WHY SELL US 4 INSURANCE POLICIES THAT ARE WORTHLESS." We were finally offered to have our travel dates extended until April 2021 at an additional cost of $283.00. I have learnt a valuable lesson and will now deal directly with Spirit ofTasmania as there terms and conditions would have ensured us a full 100% fair refund and the cost to alter our booking to an alternative date in April 2021 would not have incurred any cost at all.

I heard about Travel With A Cause 11 yrs ago and have never used any other travel agent. I'd gotten a quote from Fight Centre-called TWAC for a comparison quote and no word of a lie it was $2000 dollars cheaper!! same plane, same dates, same airline!!! When I called Flight Centre they couldn't match it or beat it. (but did offer me insurance)

I feel like a valued client-I used to use Flight Centre but it seemed that staff was always changing and when I did have any problems where I had to call from o/s I ended up in a call centre. Plus!! why do they charge extras on somethings? Jane (Founder of TWAC) has never charged us the extra fees that Flight Centre have in their quotes.

4 Years ago my father passed away on NYE (Australia date) and I had to fly to Canada to be with my remaining family. I called Jane and she had flights booked within a couple of hours, I was so grateful for this--the office was closed but she sorted out all our flights.

Last year we flew around the world and Jane arranged all our flights,hotels, excursions and a cruise for us. She even sorted out a hotel reservation mixup (the hotel's fault) at 2 am Aussie time--can't see another travel company doing that!

I have never had any issues with tickets, trips, accommodation. The staff have been very helpful when I've had to make an insurance claim and always get back to you in a prompt manner.

Jane has traveled extensively and has a lot of tips and trust me, is soooo patient with hammering out itineraries (I'm a person who changes her mind alot). I travel to Canada yearly and Jane will contact me with 'deals' that she sees before I've even seen them advertised. Jane has booked accomodation for us that she has used personally and it has worked out well when traveling with family groups and/or young children.

Honestly, if you want to book anything related to travel especially Spirit of Tasmania, check the official website first.
This agency’s price only cheaper a LITTLE than the Spirit of Tasmania, but it will cause a BIG headache to you because of some unreasonable non-refundable conditions and insurance policies.
