There are not enough words to explain the deepest gratitude and love we have for Kate - we will surely try since she is the best and deserves all the credit. We started working with Kate 6 months out from our wedding and boy was that the best decision we made! For a little context, our venue was just a venue and EVERYTHING needed to be outsourced... definitely a little daunting. We knew we needed a planner/coordinator to help bring all the pieces together since we didn't want to worry on our big day... and we certainly did not stress AT ALL with her on our side.

Kate not only came prepared with an extremely organized plan and checklist, but her calm demeanor is something we didn't know we really needed. Nothing was an issue for her, there were never too many revisions or conversations about the smallest details and none of our ideas were outrageous. She made the impossible, possible! She really really listened, jumped into conversations when we needed a real professional and executed our vision seamlessly and to a T... our wedding exceeded all expectations. Our vision became her vision and she really brought everything to life!

Friends and family told us leading up to the wedding that things will go wrong and we should remain calm, but no exaggeration, NOTHING went wrong. Literally everything we wanted and planned for is what happened. Kate made it happen and we couldn't be more grateful for her hard work, dedication and amazing attitude. We LOVE her!!!

Kate is a gem, a wildly special person and someone who we would tell anyone to hire. She is professional, kind hearted and seriously dedicated to her work. She became a real friend and an asset, and all of our vendors sang her praises, which was just the cherry on top.

Kate is a breath of fresh air in the craziness of wedding planner and I only wish I met her sooner! This was our family’s first time planning a wedding in over 10 years, and going into the process, we were completely overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. Kate immediately stepped in, calming all our anxieties, and worked with us to create a realistic and thoughtful timeline and plan that were tailored perfectly to our vision.

Despite the fact that she had also never done a wedding on Cape Cod before, she did thorough research to help us pick vendors that fit within our budget and matched our style, and she coordinated all the details with ease. Her seamless interaction with every vendor made it feel as though she had done this at our venue countless times.

From the first meeting with Kate of Events by Kate, it was clear that we were in extremely capable hands. Her communication style was very clear and insightful, and she was always available to address any questions or concerns we had or other vendors had leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, Kate's attention to detail and ability to handle any issues that arose at the drop of a hat was truly remarkable. She is also very intuitive and has your best interest at heart - my husband and I added some last minute decorations that we forgot to indicate where we thought they should go, but she was able to utilize all of them beautifully and even better than how we could have imagined. She made us feel like the center of her world on our wedding day, and her expert coordination ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you are thinking about hiring Kate, stop thinking and do it!
I hired Kate two months before my wedding to do my day of coordination. I got very lucky that she was able to squeeze our wedding in! From the start she was very attentive, and always checking in. Whenever I needed advice the month of the wedding she was a text message away. The timeline she coordinated with my other vendors was impeccable, everything was down to the minute. The morning of my wedding she came to our hotel and made sure that we were all set, grabbed all the decor that was needed for the church, pinned the boutonnieres onto the groomsmen and helped me get into my dress with many buttons. At the wedding she was fantastic, there for my every need. If I wanted something moved she had the venue move it, she literally was my husband and I's right-hand man all night long! She even sewed my bustle back on after it was stepped on and ripped during cocktail hour. Everyone was raving about her, down to my uncle who kept saying "she's fantastic" all night long. She truly is worth every penny and more. I really do not know how I would of done my wedding without her. I'm a generally anxious person and she took all that anxiety away and I was able to enjoy my wedding to the fullest extent. If you don't book her, trust me when I say you'll regret it!
