We took our disabled grandson to the carousel today and we were advised that there was no cost for our grandson and our son was also allowed to go on the carousel without paying to enable him to accompany him during the ride. The volunteers who run the carousel were so understanding and made this so much more of a wonderful experience. Thank you to the people who run this wonderful iconic attraction

The carousel was great but the venue wasn't much. We had an interstate family reunion here expecting it to be a perfect place for kids. The Lions Club do a great job but why is it all wrapped up in tin? Semaphore is beautiful and so are your horses. Use glass, more expensive but showcases what you have here, don't make it dark and dingy. Just a thought ...

We stopped in to Semaphore knowing that the Carousel was a big part of the beach side attractions! My two year old niece was lucky enough that the staff let her ride the entire thing all to herself! Thanks boys, she absolutely loved it! It was actually my first ride too! It was exactly like all those American movies you see on the tele.

For $6 a ride, it's totally worth the ride for a bit of history & childlike nostalgia. There is a height restriction of 120cm but as the adult guardian, you are permitted to stand alongside the child for free.

Run by Rotary Club volunteers this 100 year old carousel is quaint and charming. Plenty of photos of its history mostly in Semaphore... There are a couple of seats if the little ones are too frightened of the horses. Wheelchairs can be strapped in.

Iconic carousel in semaphore at the time of writing the carousel was closed. It normally opens on holidays Easter and Christmas.

At $6 per ride could not of complained and the money supports rotary and if you are standing with your child they let you go for free enquired about a party they are $200 for the first hour and $150 each hour after and we supply own food and drinks I will be going back for more rides

Such a mesmerizingly beautiful peirce of history. Well worth the visit. The staff are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. Suitable for all children, even u.s. big ones that want a trip down memory lane. Even the smell will evoke memories from times you had forgotten and a great way to create new ones.
