Good location, sports bar nearby with great food. Close to the road but not very noisy. Rooms are a little outdated but if that doesn’t bother you then overall a good place for a stop over or for a few days.

I stayed at bentely's cabin park for about 2 weeks due to work. I enjoyed each and everyday there . Staff was amazing. My cabin was so neat and clean. I had an amazing short trip.

Try to get a spa cabin when possible. Use this facility for work purposes and love to relax in a spa in the evening.
Receptionist are lovely and professional.
Highly recommend.

I had to cancel my trip overseas as my wife got Covid on the day we were due to fly out.
I then decided that I would come home to Port Pirie as I haven’t been here for a few years.
Always stay at Bentlies with fond memories.
Until now
The rooms are in need of repair and an upgrade urgently as they are not value for money .
Poor communication from reception and you are not made welcome by reception as I was in previous years.
I enquired on Tuesday about an upgrade to a room with a single bed and a queen as I have a friend coming up from Adelaide for the weekend.
I was further informed to pack my things up and bring the key back for a swap.
9 am Friday morning I did as instructed and was told after all my efforts that the room won’t be available until 1 .
So now me and my guest have to sit around and wait to get access until 1 pm.Totally inconvenient
I’v paid for six days up front but can’t get any service here.
There are a number of units available and empty.
Can I recommend that you gain some training in customer service, and spend some money on upgrades .
My room also hasn’t been touched for the week I’ve been here and I had to go out and purchase my own toilet paper.
Overall I feel that I have been poorly treated.
Further to this when I first arrived at the cabin the security door wouldn’t close,
In fact it has huge gaps in it so you can’t lock it or enjoy any fresh air.
Being security conscious I enquired at reception and was told that its movement in the building,
Interesting as the building has been here for 20 + years. I communicated my concern and was told not to worry about it.
We garuntee that nothing will happen.
I think the best solution is to replace it to give customers peace of mind. I noticed that all other security doors are intact around me,

Wonderful experience to accommodate ourselves in Cabin 87 and impressive to have 2 single beds in 1 room plus the water closet (toilet) is separated from the bathroom
It would brilliant to roam along Solomontown Beach
