I’ve stayed here 3 times now. Di is always so welcoming and accommodating. The cottages are in keeping with the beauty of Penola and are within walking distance of great food and shops.

Di and Cobb and Co came to our rescue on a very busy weekend when our original booking at another location was poorly managed.||||She juggled things around and eventually was able to give us two nights accommodation on very short notice.||||We stayed in cottage one which has been recently renovated. It is spacious, well decorated and was very clean and comfortable. I understand that the other cottages are a little older inside but will soon be renovated as well.||||There were ample provisions for a continental style breakfast and the kitchen was suitable to cook a larger breakfast had you brought along your own bacon, eggs etc.||||The coffee plunger seemed to have gone missing but I'm sure that will be rectified.||||We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, especially in cottage 1.

We’ve stayed at the wonderful Cobb n Co Cottages five or six times over the past few years. Maybe more, even. And we’ve often booked multiple cottages when travelling as a larger group. Di is a wonderful host, so helpful and obliging. The cottages are always spotless and include everything you need for a long stay. It was hot for all of our last four night stay and the air conditioning held up no worries, and the kids enjoyed the spa! The cottages are super convenient to everything Penola has to offer (pool, park, cafes, shops, Petticoat Lane, Pipers, pubs, bakery etc), so you’ll barely need the car once you’re there. Would highly recommend - we’re already planning our return visit.

Most well appointed place we have ever stayed. It's like walking in to someone's house. Just around the block from the main street, the location is magnificent. Bed was extremely comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to cook a full breakfast, including bacon and eggs in the fridge. Bathroom was clean and bright and the spa is a nice touch. There's a nice big TV and DVD player (as well as some DVDs) which is good to relax in front of after a long drive. You do have to pick up the key from the flower shop in the main street and it would be nice to be able to book online, but we would definitely stay again.

Nice spacious holiday units. Located within very easy walking distance of Penola township and shops. The units come with very generous supplies of food, so much eggs and bacon in fact that we couldn't keep up with the supply. The lady who lets the cottages out and brings new supplies is Dianne, I think, and she's very nice. The cost of using the units compares very well with other accommodation in the area. While not that old, there's no hiding that the units are aging somewhat - a few patches on walls, a few tap fittings past their use by dates, etc. The absence of wifi is very strange and out of keeping with the times. All in all, a terrific spot to stay if you're exploring the area but the units need some refurbishing and updating within the next year.

We had the front cottage with the roses in full bloom, they looked great.||A cosy and sweet place to fully relax and unwind. The cottage was pretty much what we expected, though a surprisingly large master bedroom greets you which can be totally darkened for a great nights rest.||All facilities are provided but for WIFI which was no big deal.||The breakfast provisions as all reviews state are excellent.||The town has interesting historical areas and a food and shopping precinct in walking distance.||We recommend this accommodation to all who are considering it.

We spent two nights in the recently renovated cottage situated at the front of the property. Across the street is the Mary MacKillop Interpretive Centre, and around the corner is Pipers of Penola, a real destination restaurant. It is literally 5 minutes drive to the wineries of the Coonawarra. The cottage was large, comprising two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles, a good size living room, spacious bathroom with spa, and a kitchen with dishwasher and a small dining table.The double bed was on the firm side, but we slept well. There is no on site reception, but collecting and returning keys is simple. Highly recommended.

It is a quiet location but walking distance to everything in town. Much quieter and more spacious than any hotel. In addition, very generous breakfast provisions and a very warm hospitality from host, Dianne. We have stayed several times and will be back.
