Highly recommend the 4WD tour of brachina and bunyeroo gorge that runs up through the middle of the ranges. Not only was it the highlight of our trip to the flinders ranges, but we learnt a lot and it was relaxing to have someone else do the driving. We were lucky enough to see pretty much every animal (and birdlife) there was including baby emu chicks. The lamingtons and coffee hit the spot for morning tea as well when it was cold outside. Full stop this tour is DEFINITELY worth it and recommend

It's impossible to recommend the day tour with Astrid highly enough. She gives you a taste of so many things. The geology, the flora and fauna, the history, the people. It's like the best degustation meal where, through her knowledge and personality, she is able to weave all the ingredients of the landscape together to create an outstanding experience. Astrid is a high quality story teller who can handle a 4WD at the same time. The price is a bargain for what you get.

Absolutely brilliant - definitely worth the money. If you are visiting Wilpena Pound in a 2-wd I strongly recommend you take this day tour. Astrid was lovely and so obliging. Very knowledgeable about the area and stopped anywhere when requested for a photo stop. Loved the whole day. Vehicle was very comfortable too

It was nice but not great; we spent almost the entire time in the car and didn’t see what was promised in the tour itinerary as the National park was closed.
The lady was knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her but we felt at loss to pay the whole fee first then be told that National park is closed so we will be in the car almost the whole time and could not do everything what we paid for.
The alternative was suggested long before when we were making decision which tours to go with but not on the day when the National park was closed. We were droven off and near the National park, we were told that it was closed for pest control.

We would have definitely went with the alternative if we had been communicated on the day before heading off to the National park which was closed.

Again we enjoyed sceneries and your knowledge but not with administrative part.
It was not your fault but not the client’s fault either.
The client should be communicated the changes in the itinerary in advance and have a choice even if the change is sudden for pest control.
